Just okay. Rib tips were chewy. They were smoky but needed a tad more seasoning. Smoked Chicken was flavored well but dried out.
The only side worth it were their greens. Good Pot Licka’ but could tell these were left over, as they were extremely cooked down. Potato Salad too watery and not enough seasoning.
Mac & Cheese VERY peppery and congealed. Cheese seemed to be Velveeta based vs Roux or Shredded.
They were sold out of the Brisket so…get there early.
BEST Sauce: Carolina Gold!!! Spicy Sweet follows.
Service is top notch! Friendly, personable and as swift as possible.

Ordered it for the first time through Uber Eats! The food was so good—really delicious. Honestly, I got more meat than I expected too, which was a nice surprise. The only thing is it didn’t come with the sauce, but mistakes happen. I’ll definitely keep ordering because it’s totally worth it!

Walked into Uncle D’s and was greeted with the savory smell of bbq. The menu is displayed on a chalkboard, and there are more options on a dry-erase board. You know you are getting something good, and now you have to decide how hungry you are.
Ordered some seafood, brisket, and the “301” combo, which is wings, sausage, and ribs with a side of fries, baked beans, and collard greens.
I was not prepared for how delicious and juicy the brisket was. I lost my composure and got lost in the feeling of being at a family bbq. The ribs were just as savory, with the right amount of seasoning and pictures don’t do it justice. The wings were the best I’ve had in a long time and didn’t need any sauce. I also ordered the fish and shrimp for later but sampled them at home. Both the fish and shrimp are seasoned just right and fried perfectly. The sides are just as good as the rest, but I enjoyed the collards best. There are peach or apple cobblers, but I did not order them this time, as I had plenty of food for lunch and dinner.
Based on this first order, I will be going back here more often for the wonderful food and decent price.
If you love bbq and haven’t tried Uncle D’s, I highly recommend you give it a try. They also have catering options for those who need to feed a family or have a party.

Absolutely delicious! We ordered the Downtown meal and the 301 combo. The chicken wings were seasoned perfectly and the ribs were extremely tasty.
The seating area was clean and spacious. The wait for the food was probably like 15 minutes and the serving portions were just right. Will be returning!

All I can say is “WOW!” This place is a hidden treasure. Those were the best chicken wings I have ever eaten. The seasoning was so delicious you wouldn’t have needed the sauce but that was tasty too.
These folks are so friendly and polite it was refreshing to run into that these days. They actually appreciated me and thanked me for eating at their delicious smelling restaurant.
I should be the one thanking them for such a tasty meal and I did thank them.

Their ribs must be very popular. I even saw they have seafood on the menu. They also know how it keep their canned sodas freezing cold which is the way soda should be served.
