My visit to this Nepali restaurant was pleasantly satisfying. The highlight was the starters: Selroti and the Mula ko achar stood out—flavorful and memorable. We ordered additional appetizers; the food came fairly quickly, and the flavors were genuinely good.
What stood out more than anything was how the dishes looked. The mutton thali set was not only delicious but also presented in a unique, beautiful way, which I loved. The momo platter was decent, rounding out the meal nicely.
All in all, the food, presentation, and atmosphere made for a genuinely enjoyable outing. A great place to revisit.

The Nepali food we enjoyed was absolutely delicious and deeply satisfying. Each dish was rich in flavor, beautifully spiced, and clearly prepared with care and authenticity. From the comforting warmth of the curries to the perfectly balanced seasonings, every bite was a delight. The meal felt both hearty and soulful, leaving us truly savouring the experience rather than just eating. It was a wonderful introduction to the depth and richness of Nepali cuisine, and one we thoroughly enjoyed and would happily return to again.

We keep returning to try new menu items. It looks like Arlington is figuring out that this food is authentic, fresh, delicious and creative. They plate the food in a way that makes you excited when they bring it to the table. I love the small bowls with dips and servings of black eyed peas and marinated picked radishes called Mula ko Achar. Try the duck fried rice with their nice serving of sautéed spinach. The eggplant masala does not disappoint, served piping hot and lightly spicy. I gave them 4 stars on service as the family members seem to be just learning to serve and are a bit timid. With big brother in the kitchen and siblings doing the serving, they are getting better each time we go. And we will be back.

We tried Royal Nepal for the first time. It was a very nice experience! The atmosphere is cozy and the music was very pleasant. The service was top notch also. The owner answered our questions about Nepali food and made good suggestions. We had the Himali Chicken curry and Jhir chicken. Both dishes were flavorful and well prepared, the chicken was tender and juicy. We will absolutely be back!

AMAZING. The restaurant was beautiful and the bar was setup nicely. The waitstaff was friendly and taught us about the Nepalese food. The food itself was off the charts fantastic. I can’t wait to come back. The curries were flavorful, the big appetizer we got was perfect!

They had a bit of light flickering situation from lamps that they will need fix but that’s all in the growing pains of a new restaurant.

This place is a gem! I really enjoyed the ambiance, and food here. When we first came we were served with Sel and mula achar and I was on a different level of happiness because it had been so long I had Sel and it was so tasty!!!! (pic is before i was almost done). I was thankful for the hand sanitizer and Dhaka ko napkin was nice touch! ordered chicken momo and chicken sizzler.
Honestly didn’t know why there were 8 pieces until I saw the momo size. It was soooo juicy and yummy!! Acchar also good. Chicken sizzler was niceee not too spicy and lomein had way more veggies than I’ve had before which I liked. Chicken could have been slightly more softer and better but either way was sizzlinggg so good. I will definitely come back to try more dishes ☺️☺️

Honestly, it was the first time my friend and I tried Nepalese food. It was definitely a good pick with reasonable prices and a wonderful atmosphere. I ordered mutton curry and buffalo momos. Momos are a must try for newbies! Overall, it’s a 10/10 experience with kind staff members, a great vibe, and wonderful food!

This is the best restaurant I’ve had in the Arlington area. I don’t think I can muster a single bad thing to say about it. The food is all rich and delicious. The service was amazing. And the prices were reasonable. The duck roll is my Prime recommendation and it is probably the most delicious appetizer I have had in my life. I will be coming back here.
