What a great find in Albany – delicious Blue Bell ice cream, tasty Nathan’s hotdogs, and a kind and interesting owner, Michael! We enjoyed our conversation with Michael as much as we did our lunch – he was the cherry on top! I appreciate that he stands behind the brands he offers.

Great place! The ice cream is amazing here, we just got back from the aquarium and saw cool scoops and decided to go here, and it was amazing, the people here were real nice, the chocolate ice cream is also amazing, me and my family loved it here. I definitely recommend it

The best ice cream I’ve ever had. That blue monster is insane, TRY IT!! The guys working there were very friendly with excellent service. Unfortunately the AC was broken inside but they had a trailer out front so they can serve ice cream. We will definitely be back

The guy was so nice and he had a great conversation, the ice cream looks good I should’ve got it instead but the hotdog was disgusting , it was too big and it didn’t taste good ..some places just dont have good food but they have other good stuff

Mr. Michael was amazing. Hands down the best customer service I’ve experienced during a downtown visit. He went out of his way to make my food and even provided more than paid for: Honey he made that hot dog with LOVE. Please go see him at Cool Scoops asap. Definitely an experience

We love Cool Scoops! Mr Mike is so friendly and welcoming you can’t help but visit over and over! They serve such generous scoops that I only made the mistake of ordering a double scoop one time!! They have indoor seating, but also have well shaded picnic tables out front too!!

If you’re in downtown area by the Flint River, please do yourself a favor and stop by Cool Scoops..today i had the experience of hanging out here today with some students on a field trip to the aquarium. My experience was nothing short of amazing from the time I walked in the door.. I was greeted by Mr.Mike..He provided the students with a list of many different flavors of ice cream in which everyone was pleased with. I myself had the pleasure of getting a loaded chili cheese “Big Nathan’s” hot dog and let’s just say. I will definitely be back… Thank you Mr.Mike your customer service skills were superb!!! I have never felt so welcomed in any other establishment the way i did today. Thank you
