WOWZERS! All I can say is if you are a local or traveling through Spokane and are looking for a classy top notch date night spot this it!! Their Cougar gold cheese dip appetizer is PHENOMENAL, cheesy and savory in all the right ways also is literally came our BUBBLING The ambience and high class atmosphere will leave you feeling like elegance in the heart of our downtown! The server/bartender was so kind and welcoming and had great service and made us custom mocktails since we don’t drink! The fettuccine Alfredo and Caesar salad was so delicious fresh and so flavorful! We also went during Christmas time so everything of the Grand was all decorated everywhere we looked which was just beautiful!

We went to The Lion King and after scooted over to The Grand Restaurant and lounge for a cocktail and some food. Cougar Gold dip is such a treat and great Hamburger Slicers. Food was great but it was the service that is what made the visit absolutely fantastic! Crystal was the best. The best service and an amazing personality. She was the highlight of the whole night. Totally on her game. The Davenport Grand is luck to have her.

I had a light dinner and a few drinks here. The bartender, Crystal, is an absolute gem. My old fashioned was perfect. I had a soup (salmon chowder) and the berry salad. Both great. This is a lovely place with just the right atmosphere. Could be date night, a drink after a game or a show, or just a night cap.

The atmosphere here is dark and just felt outdated. While the appetizer we got was good (Cougar Gold cheese dip), our entrees were not. The eggplant Parmesan was particularly disappointing and overpriced, with just a small sad slab of eggplant/marinara type sauce on a dry gluten free bun. Stick to cocktails on the rooftop if you go here!

We spent two nights at the hotel and ended both of them at the bar/lounge. The service was quick and the waitresses were very attentive. Super yummy drinks and the food was good. The hummus wasn’t our favorite but overall everything was great. There are TVs available to watch any games as well.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We booked an igloo dinner at the Davenport Grande terrace specifically because they told us — multiple times — that they could accommodate dietary needs. I even called ahead to confirm, and our reservation clearly noted the requirements.
Fast forward to today: we show up for our reservation, only to be told they cannot accommodate anything. No explanation, no effort, just a flat “no” after assuring us it would not be a problem.
This wasn’t a minor oversight — this was the entire reason we chose the igloos in the first place. It completely derailed the evening we planned and paid for. For a hotel that claims to offer luxury experiences, this was a complete failure in communication, professionalism, and basic customer service.
If you have any dietary needs at all, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The Davenport Grande clearly can’t be bothered to honor the commitments they make to their guests.

Absolutely terrible food for the price. Burger was way too dry, and the “special” short rib was anything but a short rib. It was a 2 inch piece of brisket meat that tasted like it was heated up in a microwave on top of a layer of tomato pasta sauce. Incredibly disappointed with the food and the service.
