SO, glad I happened to stumble upon this place when they were open. I’ve been super curious about how they’re food was. I ordered the fried chicken wrap and it was fire (delicious)! I was afraid the chicken could be over breaded and too heavy, but not here. It had the perfect balance of lightly breaded, crispy chicken, fresh and pickled veggies. I love that the sauce is creamy with little spicy kick to it, while still retaining a baseline freshness. I could tell this was high quality from the first bite.
To add, the atmosphere is on point. After being so warmly greeted by the staff and ordering, I found the perfect little spot to relax and read my book while relaxing music played in the background.

I feel very stupid for sleeping on this place as long as I did. The food is incredible and has a complexity to it that far surpasses the typical two notes of bland tzatziki and overly salted meat that typically passes for Mediterranean food. The Shawarma is the best pita based sandwich I’ve ever had. The mango latte sounds weird but is definitely worth trying, very similar in flavor profile to a rose-raspberry latte if you’ve had or can imagine that. The chai is peerless in Santa Cruz, somewhere between masala chai, karak, and Thai tea. And its hard to have truely exceptional fries but somehow they do it here, although I do think the price is a little steep on them. Overall definitely in the top 3 of lunch places downtown.

I got their chicken pita sandwich to go and it was so good! The chicken was juicy and the pita was fresh and soft. It was filling and just the right size. I will be back

Wow, their Hippie Salad rocks! The toasted chickpeas, yam bits, and pickled shallots did it for me – every bite was fresh, savory, and crisp. The dressing was the icing on the cake (they should really bottle and sell it). You could tell it was made fresh with love. Their restaurant space is colorful and inviting, and they’ve even got outdoor seating right on Pacific Avenue, so it was perfect for an lunch outside in the fresh air. I highly recommend this spot for falafel, wraps, salads, and bowls if you’re in downtown Santa Cruz.

Delicious food in a clean, quiet setting. Mostly self service. You order at the counter, get your own water, napkins, and silverware, and bus your own dishes. Would definitely eat here again.

Excellent place for getting falafel wraps. We tried the vegan and veggie falafel wraps and both were excellent. The falafel were fresh and delicious. The veggies were just perfect.

Great food and pleasant atmosphere. Everything we tried was delicious- hummus plate, chicken wraps and desserts. The Dubai style soft serve was a crowd pleaser at our table. One small pet peeve- when ordering a side of hummus the staff should propose a side of bread or chips. Realising there is nothing to dip in the hummus was kind of disappointing.

Wow, we are enamored with Ibiza! The restaurant itself is beautiful and bright in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. Service was friendly and accommodating. As for the food, highlights were the nachos (out of this world, 10/10 recommend!) and the rip and dip platter with the most pillowy hummus. But the best part in my opinion was actually the kids menu. Our super picky eater ate everything we ordered! We got the jammin toast, the chicken strips, and the pita quesadilla. He even drank the bunny juice and wanted another one. The cost was very reasonable, especially for the quality. And we left with warm churros to go walking down Pacific Avenue. It was such a delightful experience. Just wish we got there earlier to try some of the breakfast items but we are definitely coming back!
Update: couldn’t resist another stop at Ibiza for lunch. This time I had the Hippie Salad with Falafel, a warm chai latte and of course a Bunny Juice! All were wonderful. I’m not usually a chai girl but this was exceptional. Next time I’ll try it with added caramel. On to more sweet things, I also indulged in a Tahini Soft Serve with all the bells and whistles. Granola puffs and strawberry plum jam. It was heavenly, but I suggest you share it as it is very rich. Another great experience, of course I’m coming back with the whole family.

Ibiza has excellent vegan options—even a separate vegan menu which is very much appreciated. The falafels are what falafels should be—flavorful and crisp. There’s a delicious lentil soup. Sometimes we go just for the tahini soft serve!

Unbelievably frustrating experience here this afternoon. Came in with our toddler midway through our road trip hoping for a good and quick lunch. We ordered two plates and waited over an hour for our food to come out. When it finally arrived, everything was cold. Portions are quite small so we left feeling pretty irritated and still hungry, with a very grumpy 2yo in tow.
Not normally the type to ask for a refund but we felt it was necessary. They offered us 50% back which I appreciated but honestly still didn’t make up for how long we waited (while watching other tables around us be served in under 20min).
