Jack in the box in Desoto,Tx on Hampton road, the Hispanic short heavy set long black haired guy who is the shift manager was VERY RUDE AND INSENSITIVE!!! During the snow storm on today January 26,2026 it was lightening up on the roads but still slippery and drivable in some areas. A truck ahead of me got stuck at the drive-thru speaker and as he proceeded to pull forward the ice in the drive through wouldn’t allow him to so he kept sliding back the more he kept trying to pull forward to the window and pay for his food. To prevent from getting stuck myself with my two daughters in the car, I safely pulled forward passed the speaker to the window. Instead of using common sense, the shift manager chose to be rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. He refused to take my order, blamed me for being out in the weather, and showed zero empathy or professionalism. UNACCEPTABLE! I asked for his name he covered his name tag hiding it from me and didn’t answer me. This was a simple situation that could have been handled with basic human decency. Instead, it turned into a power trip from a manager who clearly should not be in leadership leading anyone with that kind of attitude. So many cars were getting stuck and driving up asking if they could order at the window and he turned all 5 cars of us away while he’s basically riding the clock refusing to work and not taking orders. Customers are already taking a risk just being out in the weather conditions to feed their families, and to be turned away like how he did is sad and embarrassing.

Every time I get food from this location it’s always wrong. I mean completely wrong. I ordered simply a strawberry shake and a sprite. Got two lemonades. This is just one time if as I’ve said many. Horrible service now days with crazy long lines. They make you pull up so corporate can’t see the real wait time customers are facing.

Came to this location this morning and Johnathon was AMAZING, he was sweet, professional and attentive. When I said “Thank you” he said “My pleasure”. I am HUGE on Customer Service and he has it. I stopped going out to eat due to lack of customer service. Went the other night to this location and the ladies at the window were awesome as well. Thank you to all staff who truly treats their customers with dignity especially not knowing what anyone is going through. I appreciate you guys.

I am writing to formally report a very disturbing experience I had at this location on Christmas night.
While I was in the drive-through placing my order with the employee who initially took it, another employee abruptly came to the window and shut it while I was still speaking. She then made several rude and disrespectful remarks toward me, escalated the situation unnecessarily, and ultimately called the police—despite the fact that I had not behaved aggressively or inappropriately.
This entire incident occurred while my two daughters were in the back seat of my car, which made the situation even more upsetting and inappropriate. Having police arrive in a drive-through on Christmas night over a simple order issue was alarming and completely unwarranted.
In addition to the unprofessional behavior, the food I received appeared to be old, excessively greasy, and clearly not freshly prepared. It seemed to be served deliberately in poor condition. The order totaled over $40 nearly $50 and my family was unable to eat the food due to its quality.
Because of this experience, I will be disputing the charge. I am requesting a full refund and would also like this incident to be reviewed by management, as no customer especially a family should be treated this way.
I expect appropriate follow-up regarding this matter.

I used to go all the time for lunch. This was my favorite place to go get lunch. BUT, now everyone i go something goes wrong. For example my whole order is not there, I am waiting a long time in the drive through because the emp at the window is chatting with the person in the car at the window laughing, giggling, giving each other high fives. I AM AT LUNCH. I HAVE TO HURRY GET BACK TO WORK. Well finally my turn. I said I ordered through the app. Hispanic lady said there are no more teriyaki bowls. I told her I already paid on line. She says she doesn’t know why my order didn’t go through. Anyway, so now I have to figure out how to get my money back. I loved you Jack but this is it because a lot has happened every time I go over there. BYE, Letty

When I went, I ordered a drink and some tiny tacos. The tacos were half missing, and my drink order was wrong as well. I normally love jack in the box, but this one wasn’t the greatest.

Terrible drive-thru service. The employee was yelling, rude, and clearly aggravated. I waited about 20 minutes, and when I asked for extra sauce on the side, she threw it at me. Completely unacceptable customer service.
