So, we went to NYC (Floral Park in Queens) on 12/28/2025 for a weekend getaway. Upon checking into our hotel, I asked the front desk clerk, Erica, about good pizza nearby and she highly recommended Vaccaro’s. I’ve worked in several hotels, and I know that front desk employees steer guests to places that hook them up, and swear the food is all that. But Erica assured me that Vaccaro’s was “Amazing”. I told my fiancé and the rest is history. Best pizza either of us have ever had! Paired with excellent customer service and a very welcoming attitude to obvious sport(s) rivals! Period! And this is before we had John’s of Bleeker and Carmine’s on the same weekend. Both of those spots are solid choices, but I dont think Portnoy has tried Vaccaro’s yet. If not, he needs to. We love trvaelling for food and I’ve only written a few Google reviews. But if you’ve got the grub that makes this North Philly brotha take the time out to rave, then that’s what I’ma gonna do. Kudos to you, Vaccaro’s. We will see y’all, hopefully in the Spring.

The pizza was a 3.9/5 I would say needed a bit more sauce on the cheese slice it was pretty dry but the jalapeño pepper slice was a solid 5/5.

We love this place , they have tried pizza margarita, white slice, potatoes and onion slice, zucchini slice.
Really enjoy the fresh tomato and Basil sauce they use.

What a joke- I ordered penne a la vodka and got a pasta with tomato sauce that they tried to pass as vodka sauce! Bad enough prices went up, but to pay for something like that is sad! Don’t advertise vodka sauce if you can’t make it!
