I came here with my girlfriend and we both ordered ramen. It was delicious, I really enjoyed the food.
The staff was very polite and friendly, and our food was ready nearly instantly.
My only complaint is that I wish that there was salt or soy sauce at the table, because I like my soups extra salty.

Miso pork ramen was outstanding, especially the broth. Overall, really liked our first experience there and will go back for more. Clearly the restaurant is in transition from a taco joint to a Vietnamese noodle outfit. I recommend!

Funny Noodle is SO GOOD. This time, I got the Pho with Brisket, Broccoli and Brussels Sprouts, and spicy Cucumber salad. The brisket is amazing and so flavorful, the Brussels sprouts are always a go-to, and the spicy cucumber salad is just the right amount of spicy. Portions are always generous for the price, too. Funny Noodle is one of my favorite places to eat after work or school and I’m so glad they are open again. Keep up the amazing food and service!

I was really excited to have a ramen shop near my office. Turns out the aren’t even open for lunch. Picked up some Funny Chicken after work. Order and service was good. Appearence and smell was 10/10. I was SO excited… *drum roll*… It was NOT good, borderline awful. As most of the other reviews state. The flavor is just not there. On top of that, which others haven’t mentioned, the noodles themselves were incredibly mushy and slimy. Perhaps boiled WAY too long? idk. The chicken drumsticks weren’t bad, but honestly no different then Shake and Bake I could make at home.
Bottom line, they better change their broth recipes soon or they won’t last very long.

I’ve never been to a ramen place that puts bone in chicken on their ramen? Is that supposed to be the funny in funny noodle? Anyway the broth was good the noodles were decent.. the flavor of soy in the egg was 5x stronger than I would have liked. A mixed bag I hope this place hits it’s stride at some point, I would like to go again some time down the road and see what changes.

At least their name is accurate, bc it sure is laughable how bad this ramen was. My girlfriend and I got the Funny Chicken and Miso Pork ramen, and though the Chicken and Pork were fine in themselves, the noodles and broth were the most bland, sad, lacking of flavor noodles and broth I’ve ever had out of a noodle dish. It’s telling that when we tried each other’s broth bc we both thought ours didn’t taste like anything, we both thought they tasted the same, like nothing. It’s more akin to Akron’s tap water than it is a broth.
The service itself was quick enough, no longer than 10 minutes, but would I ever go back here again? Not a chance. If you’re looking for flavorful ramen, take a few steps down the street and go to Cilantro & Thai, they serve an amazing ramen.

It is fusion Asian food. Sadly, the broth was very very bland. You cannot do Asian dishes and not understand the flavors. It was very bad. Pork Belly not rendered and brisket was really just roast beef my husband said. It was tough. Bread was soggy on banh mi because they didn’t use the hard French baguette and Mayo was more of a hummus way too thick. Miso ramen lacked flavor and again the pork belly was not rendered. Broth was thick more like a stew. Sad. Very sad. Please hirer someone in the culture you are trying to mimic to help you understand the flavors of Southeast Asia and Central Asia…unfortunate. No pics because I threw it away ..

I ordered 2 different soups, the pho when they opened, and a ramen today. Some way some how the soup is very light, the meat is delicious but the soup is not what I expect. The appetizer buns are delicious though

We stopped in before at show at EJ Thomas and so happy we did! The food is delicious and the service from Tony was exceptional. Will definitely be back! (Definitely get the sprouts, you won’t be disappointed)

I gave two stars because the people working were very nice. I don’t like giving bad reviews but the food was not good. We ordered a ramen and a pho. There barely was a detectable flavor in either broth. It was a little shockingly bad to be honest.
