Big upgrade to the space after replacing HUB. I got the fried chicken with masked potatoes and subbed my slaw for Mac n cheese. They give you two massive fried pieces of chicken. It was so good. Made a reservation otherwise you won’t get a spot on a weekend at the regular dinner hour. We also had the salmon and it was good as well. Our server on the bar side was great. Great upscale venue with home style dinner.

Picked going to Amaro’s for Valentine’s Day for the first time and it didn’t disappoint!

The ambiance of the new location is perfect for the spot and fully transformed from its predecessor. They had it fully prepared for the holiday as the place was packed but not overwhelming or loud.

The food was amazing! Loved the specials for Valentine’s Day with the Filet Mignon and Arancini. We also enjoyed some of the classics like the beet salad and the Fried Chicken.

Would love to come back and try the happy hour, as the drinks and food looked great for the price.

Looking forward to returning in the future!

Amaro’s Table continues to impress no matter the location, and the East Vancouver spot is no exception. The food, presentation, and service remain consistently phenomenal across the board, but this location stands out for its more elevated atmosphere, which feels perfectly suited to the Camas area.

What really sets this location apart is the service. The staff works seamlessly as a team, supporting one another in a way that elevates the entire dining experience. We visited with a party of five and made reservations about a week in advance—and even then, there were only two time slots available for a Wednesday night. It was incredibly busy, so reservations are highly recommended.

We opted for a family-style meal, which allowed us to sample a wide variety of dishes. The Brussels sprouts were the only item that didn’t quite win the table over, but everything else hit the mark. The seared ahi bruschetta was fresh and flavorful, the calamari was perfectly cooked, and the bread with whipped ricotta was a standout. Even someone in our group who typically avoids blue cheese enjoyed the wedge salad, which says a lot.

For entrées, we ordered the fried chicken steak, risotto, linguini, and the chicken sandwich. While the risotto wasn’t a favorite and something we’d likely skip next time, anything chicken-related was absolutely phenomenal. The linguini ended up being the unanimous favorite at the table.

Overall, Amaro’s Table East Vancouver delivers an exceptional dining experience with standout service, a refined atmosphere, and a menu full of hits. We will definitely be back. It’s not overly casual, so plan to dress a bit nicer and make a reservation—you won’t regret it.

Amaro’s Table took the location of a sub par brewpub and turned it into an elegant space that is completely unrecognizable from its original state. We truly enjoyed the ambiance of this beautiful establishment. The service was excellent. Warm and friendly smiles abound. The food, however, is where it loses a star for me. We have consistently ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich and this time I ordered the Steak Sandwich. Please don’t get me wrong, they were both good. I just found the Steak Sandwich to be a bit too savory (lose the peppers) and the Fried Chicken Sandwich to be a bit too sweet (add a tiny bit of cayenne or something savory to offset the sweet). We enjoyed the time we spent at this location and we will definitely return.

The food was great! We all shared bites off each other! Dessert was great. Flan, brownies and donuts with the Caramel sauce! The CHICKEN was sooo good! Highly recommended going here. Got to get the fried chicken!

Disappointing. We had high expectations for Amaro’s having been to the downtown restaurant a number of times.

We waited 10+ minutes for a table while parties our size were seated ahead of us (none having reservations). Shared a 6 person table with another party (not surprising when you need to maximize the number of people seated). Then waited for a server (the hostess finally came by to ask if we had been served before one showed up). We stayed positive the entire time – restaurant work isn’t easy. We noticed the people next to us were getting refills on drinks and checked on how things were going while we were largely ignored. We were similarly dressed and engaging but may not fit the typical demographic for the area.

The food selection, quality, and flavor were okay but a bit overpriced (IMO) for the area.

The atmosphere was good – an upgrade from the previous restaurant.

Overall very disappointing. Too many dining options to be treated like we were.

What an incredible experience. Perfect date night spot.
Everything is crafted to perfection! The cocktails, the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. Brussel spouts were delightful. The daily risotto is always a winner. The service was exceptional. Jess was our server but you will be in great care with Mike or Maddie too. You want to impress someone but dont want to spend gaucho money Amaros is the spot (and I think better food and value).

Walking in here for dinner, we were greeted by several hostesses, all were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Visually this place is beautiful and comforting. We were seated right away, we did have reservations.
Once seated, Michael promptly welcomed us, took our drink order and talked about the menu, offering some appetizers.
Our drinks were at our table within minutes, followed by our delicious appetizers of calamari and Aja tuna served on a crostini. The craft cocktail and appetizers were a perfect starter. Michael continued to make our dining experience perfect, relaxing and enjoyable. Our water glasses were constantly filled, dinner arrived flawlessly. We enjoyed the prawn linguine, fried chicken and the salmon. (we were a party of four) as delicious as everything was, the portions were large, and we had to take our left overs with us.
Great dining experience, fabulous service, a great date night. Sadly, no pictures of our food, but trust me it was delicious!
Thank you!

Amaro’s Table Eastside

Vibe: The space is almost unrecognizable from when it was Hopworks. Guest Experience Director Haleigh Haase has done an incredible job with the makeover. Beautiful chandeliers are suspended over each table, along with a sizable, impressive chandelier that serves as the centerpiece. The previous army of beer taps has been replaced with a lovely, white-illuminated cocktail bar. Thanks to the carpet and acoustic tiles, the former gym-like echo has been eradicated. Instead, savvy background music plays at a comfortable level that invites conversation.

The new staff run a smooth operation. The quality of the food is consistent with the downtown location.

Cocktails were almost as good. According to Beverage Director Preston Groves, most of the cocktails are batched (pre-made) and served on tap. Nitrogen replaces the liquid as it’s poured, which helps preserve the batch. This cocktail snob could taste a slight difference from the bespoke, hand-mixed cocktails downtown, but most people will be more than pleased.

Amaro’s Table Eastside will be in heavy rotation among our dining spots. Will I still dine downtown? Of course! -VanPort Insider

The new set up here is gorgeous with chandeliers, wood, and two stories with high open ceilings for the bar area and a portion of the seating downstairs. The menu is very similar if not identical to the other Amaros locations in Vancouver. We both had burgers and we enjoyed the seasonal cocktail menu. The service was friendly and attentive at the bar with Connor and Insidia (I am not sure on the spelling). The atmosphere is very warm and elegant. I definitely recommend checking out this location.
