I frequented this bar over 45 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find it has retained its traditional character over the years.

We went there for drinks and to have a look around.

One thing that will never change is that fireplace in the middle of the bar.

The plain log bar stools that were introduced in 1979 are still in the bar and remain completely usable, as was the intent of the purchase.

The drive-through service window is no longer used, of course, but is still in place to offer memories of the good old days .

There is a sign stating that the bartender will inspect all hip irons. The barrel filled with sand that was used for the chamber inspections is no longer in the bar.

Aside from history. this bar is well equipped and ready to serve a wide range of alcoholic beverages.

It’s a true blue bar that any bar going lover will enjoy.

Had a large Hawaiian pizza. It was delicious! The server/cook was super friendly! It was quiet but not a busy time for the bar. The bar hours are DIFFERENT from the restaurant. The restaurant is only open Monday-Saturday from 5pm-9pm.

This place deserves 10/5 stars! I forgot to get her name, but the bartender was absolutely amazing! My crew came in well past kitchen hours, after a long 14 hour day. She let us know that there wouldn’t be any place else for food, and that they actually weren’t technically serving anymore. She still went back there and whipped us up two of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! Lots of toppings with lots of cheese. All when the kitchen was closed. We appreciated it so much and I hope she sees this! Just can’t praise her enough for taking care of us. Thank you!!

Great local’s bar in Pinedale. We find the pizza quite serviceable, the drinks cheap, and the bartenders friendly. Kathy is great to talk to, chat her up. Woman has a heart of gold. We have visited on multiple trips from Seattle.

Local politics and attitudes are red-state Mountain West. If you are from a big city, you might find some terminology the locals use to be a bit on the antiquated side, to put it politely. We tend to tread very lightly when discussing anything besides the weather.

That said, Corral Bar is a good spot in a small town without a ton of options.

No kitchen on Sunday.

Good burgers. Love the variety of sides. Pizza was a little on the crispy/extra cooked side but still edible for a toddler. Called and placed a pick up order, food was ready within 30 minutes. Would try dining in next time if we have the time.

We’re not smokers, but even so this place was great. Honest bartender who was great for a chat and they had mighty fine cold beer. We went twice during our time in town (although will be tossing our clothes in a plastic bag until we make it to a laundromat).

One of the very few spots open late. Nice small town bar vibes with pool tables and shuffle board. TouchTunes lets you DJ so the music is always right.

Coming down from the Wind River after a 5-day hiking trip, we were starving and had all decided to find a pizza joint in nearby Pinedale. Driving down main street. Heading to a place we found on Google, we saw the sign on the front of the building “Great Pizza” and decided to pull over there because we had also seen some reviews. What a great decision! As soon as we pulled over and started walking and I realized this was the same classic local cowboy dive bar that I went to with my sons 4 years earlier where we sampled local micro brews and played pool and mingled with the locals. Now there was a pizza operation in the back. The menu has a great variety and we were intrigued by the number of appetizers. We inquired about the combo platter and I couldn’t believe my ears when the operator told me what it came with. For $14 you could not believe the amount of food and variety in the combo platter. It was so delicious, I the fried mushrooms and the chicken wings which were some of the best I’ve ever had. The taste and texture was totally amazing. So perfectly cooked. We ordered a large ultimate pizza and it was so delicious. The crust was flavorful and chewy. The toppings were numerous and the Canadian bacon and sausage were some of the best I’ve ever had on a pizza. While eating, I couldn’t resist ordering more chicken wings to enjoy some more and take the rest home. After getting home I reheated them in my toaster oven for 2 days, making some incredible snacks. Although I am hundreds of miles away from this place, my mind drifts to how I can make more trips to the area to go there again.

Ordered 5 pizza’s to go over the phone, was told the price of the pizza after I made the order. Once I arrived, was not dining in, I got the bill and was charged a “mandatory” 18% (apx $20) gratuity because I ordered 5 pizza’s. Mind you I did NOT dine in, and only ordered to go. After talking to the waitress who was very new, she said it was policy. I’m so tired of these mandatory tips, especially if I wasn’t even dining in! The waitress told me she’d have her manager call me the next business day to discuss this nonsense, I obviously did not get a call and although it’s not the end of the world, I will be reporting this to my credit card company simply for the fact that this is not right and no company should up charge a tip for those who are not dining in, especially when I was never told the extra charge would be added until I went to swipe my payment.
