Tried the Almond croissant, chocolate almond croissant, mixed fruit croissant and a morning bun. Croissants are on the dense side not buttery and flaky. Very sugary and sweet. They have a selection of sweet and savory Pastries. Sweet pastries are on the average side .

The baked goods here are undoubtedly delicious, however the service is far from it. I really don’t understand why some employees have an air of attitude around them. You signed up to do this job? We are also paying handsomely for your pastry plus we’ve stood in line ever so patiently?

Wow beautiful and flavorful pastries. The croissants were perfectly flaky, and the fillings had great flavors. It’s one of the top bakeries in the Bay Area. There is a line for sure – but it’s worth a wait!

It truly is unbelievable what they can create in this incredibly small bakery. We picked up a dozen different items all delicious. You cannot go wrong stopping here for a sweet treat. Only advice is to get here earlier in the day than we did as they sell out of so much. The breads are beautiful (works of art) and incredibly flavorful, most make using Levain dough. Wowee on the Meyer Lemon Shortbread – wished I had ordered 2 of those. Scones were amazing and so was the chocolate croissant. We walked around the corner and sat on a bench and enjoyed.

This East Bay bakery is a standout. Their breads are all excellent and well-baked, with the German Rye being a clear favorite. Their cakes and Paris-Brest are also incredibly delicious, making it a must-visit for any pastry lover. Recommended!

So worth standing in the line, and a well deserved all 5star rating. I tried the walnut coriander scone, ham and egg muffins, and butter croissant, all tasty, and perfect.
It’s also located in a really cute neighborhood so my dog and i went on a walk after picking up the baked goods.
The staff is really friendly and i totally recommend trying this place out.
