Menu – Tschudin Chocolates & Confections
Four to five hour class, about an hour of cognitive learning with a lesson plan followed by three to four hours of psychomotor learning in the kitchen.

Stores like this no longer exist so we were enthusiastic to support this chocolate store. Staff were amazing and chocolates were great! A bit pricey but worth it for the craft.

Visited Middletown yesterday, came across this place. Loved the handmade chocolates here. The chocolatier was fun person to talk to. I tried earl gray, night of tunisia and gin tonic, all of them were yum. Texture & flavor was excellent. Night of Tunisia was bursting with different flavors in a good way!

Wife and I visited Rob and his shop over the weekend and got the deluxe tour of the shop and walked out with a box of in my opinion the most delicious, flavorful and artist chocolates we have ever had. The Garam Masala and Night in Persia chocolates were insane.

Amazing little shop. We had dinner and wanted to grab something sweet after. The owner is charming and talented. Talked us through his products making jokes along the way. The chocolates were top notch quality and we will definitely be back! My favorites were the marshmallow and peanut butter

best chocolate around! not only is there delicious hand-crafted chocolate but there are also snacks near the door for those Hot Summer days! If you see the prices and think “surly it can’t be worth that.” I assure you it is!!! The taste and texture and expert crafting of flavor in each and every one is worth it. I always get a box of these to win over a new Boss [and it always works 😉 ]

my partner and i stumbled upon this shop while picking up dinner next door and it was such a wonderful serendipitous experience. Robert was so kind and whimsical! the chocolates are beyond delightful, delicious, perfectly balanced and beautiful. you really don’t want to miss out on trying them!!!

Some of the strangest chocolates that I have actually enjoyed!
All are dark.
The polka dotted one is lemon mint (this tastes like mint from a garden, not like peppermint patty mint. It was surprising but good).
The butterfly is strawberry basil (meh. Not my fav).
The almond one is marzipan (YUM).
The dragon tastes like walking into an Indian restaurant (no idea what all flavors are inside. I didn’t like but apparently it’s their most award-winning one).
The lion-emblem one is tomato with a white chocolate ganache (this one was like a curiously kind-of-good one).
The blue cocoa bean one was called Masala, and it tasted like chocolate brought out more by faint hints of something that simply enhances the chocolate. I almost didn’t get this one (I’m not a fan of spiced chocolate typically), but it was by far my favorite, and, apparently, another award-winder for the shop!

We stopped by just about closing time. Not only did we get some great chocolates we got a tour and an explanation on how they made their filled candies. Great people great experience we would highly recommend it.

Tschudin has AMAZING yummy things to eat, and everyone we met there was kind & helpful. The person behind the counter walked us though all the options, pointed out things we might enjoy, and helped us make decisions. She did not steer us wrong!! So far we’ve sampled 4 different chocolates and the fillings are incredible. They are also beautifully done, with an eye to detail and finish. The chocolate itself is fantastic. On a hot day, the frozen chocolate covered mousse was an amazing treat. Make this a destination to stop at if you are visiting CT; you will not be disappointed!! (They also are willing to ship if you call them directly. We will be placing future orders.)

Visiting Middletown for a wedding. Decided to stop in just for a quick sweet treat. No regrets at all. The worker there was super super friendly, and gave us descriptions on all the chocolate they had. Super nice variety, and what we got was delicious! We love supporting small local businesses too. Maybe a little pricy, but that doesn’t bother us at all. Amazing, and no regrets.
