We came on a rainy day for some hot soup and we were not disappointed. The ramen came quickly with good toppings. We ordered the garlic ramen, I found that the burnt garlic taste overpowered the ramen broth so I was not able to get a good taste of the broth. The lunch special was a great deal, the gyozas and kaarage were very delicious. Service was very attentive and friendly. Decoration inside was unique and fun. I would definitely come back to try another ramen

Just tried this brand-new ramen spot and loved it! The vegetarian ramen bowl and fried rice were packed with flavor—rich broth, fresh veggies, and spot-on seasoning. Huge portions that left me happily full, super affordable, and everything tasted clean and delicious. The place is bright, clean, and welcoming—perfect for vegetarians looking for hearty options. Friendly service too.

Tajima Ramen was a solid experience! The chicken karaage was okay I expected it to be a little more crunchy and juicy, but it was still decent. I really liked the black garlic ramen, super flavorful and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sesame ramen; it had a little kick to it, but he still ate it all! The service was good too, and there was no wait, which was a plus. Overall, a nice spot to grab ramen.

Food was pretty good, I thought the carnitas ramen was creative + executed really well. The service was kind of weird — they were out of like five something discrete menu items, brought us coldish tea, kind of shrugged and said “you get what you get” when our ramen came before appetizers.

Tajima Ramen Maui is a must-visit!
My wife and I started with the gyoza, which were perfectly crisp and flavorful. They were a great way to kick off the meal. For our main dish, we both ordered the Tajima Red Ramen, and it did not disappoint. The broth had just the right amount of spice, rich and well-balanced. I added a noodle refill because I couldn’t get enough.

Honestly, this was the best ramen I’ve had outside of Japan. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was also fantastic with great music that added to the experience without being too loud.

If you’re in Maui and craving authentic, flavorful ramen, Tajima should be at the top of your list.

We got the Tajima Red ramen, pork fried rice and gyoza. All of them tasted just like how they taste back in Japan!! It was too good that I even forgot to take a picture before finishing it
I would love to revisit Maui just to eat once more here! The decor and service is great too.

I’ve been here twice already. Their ramen is bomb. Their other items are just okay.

I had their white ramen and black ramen. Both were good, but I think the white ramen is better.

I also had their edamame, vegetarian gyoza, chicken fried rice, and pork fried rice. And all of these were okay. If these were better, I would’ve given the restaurant five stars.

The atmosphere also has a touch of coolness to it. The restaurant is decorated with anime figures at the front, and cartoons and sports are playing on TVs at the front as well. Alongside the rest of the restaurant design, overall, it gives off a cool vibe.

The food here was so delicious that as I write this review, I am already planning my next visit. The noodles are delicious & so is the sushi. I recommend the vegetarian ramen, Philly roll, & garlic fried noodles.

Never see any ramen that sticks together as a chunk. You could’ve stir it when boiling the ramen. Simple as that
Broth is ok
Probably instant ones are better if they don’t stir the ramen and let them stick together

The only up side is they are open are 8

Tajima Ramen totally hit the spot. The gyoza was crispy and delicious, and both the black ramen and white ramen were amazing—super flavorful and comforting.

The place is clean, cold and there’s tons of parking which is always a win. The staff were super friendly and helpful with all our questions. Definitely coming back!
