Went here on a Wednesday evening (3 people) and the place had a lovely bustling atmosphere. There’s great attention to detail from the waiters’ uniforms, table dressing, and quality of the food.
Had the Naga chicken (love Naga) and found it to be flavourful but not blow-your-head-off hot. The naans were massive and the lassie was a pint of the stuff! Lush.
Would definitely return.

On a busy Sunday night, the Gurkha Chef family brought the warmth of the Himalayas to a hungry, cuisine-curious group of adventurers on a very short notice.
Hospitality like sun through cloud.
Piping hot momos, balanced spice, soft naan, mouth-watering curries.
A little Nepal glowing against the cold in the hills of Malvern.
Highly recommended.

Just finished an excellent meal here, only slight negative was the food wasn’t spicey enough! They definitely err on the side of caution I think.
Lots of flavour, the chutney for the poppadoms was the best i’ve had. The vegetable momo was full of flavour and my special ghurka tawa was phenomenal – my partner loved the garlic naan too.
Great service and well worth a visit! Reasonable pricing too I thought, I can’t wait for another visit

An outstanding experience altogether.
Food was so delicious that even after i went home i was craving some more. But the gurkha beer wasn’t as much of a boom that i thought it would be but nevertheless it was an absolute delightful evening. One of the best places to visit in malvern besides those beautiful hills.

There’s a reason this place scores so highly: it really *IS* that great.
We booked a place one early evening after a few beers, and were quickly shown to our seat. Not being a big garlic fan restricted me to a smaller set of dishes (which probably isn’t a bad thing – there’s a huge variety on offer) but I ended up going for the Gurkha Special Tawa anyway after reading reviews of it.
It’s a pretty big dish with chicken, lamb AND prawns in a rich sauce with onions, red & green peppers, etc. all served in its own handled balti bowl. It’s marked 3-chilli rating but I didn’t find it exceptionally hot (was just the right strength) but had a real depth of flavour. Although I had a nan to the side, I didn’t need any other accompaniments and struggled to finish the quantity. But I’ll definitely order it again!
That plus a Ghurka beer came to just under 20 quid – bargain all around.
Will deffo return!

We placed a large order for an occasion.
All food was delivered hot, nothing was missing, which is always a worry with a large order. And it was delivered in good time!
There were 8 or us eating, we had absolutely no complaints about any of the food. It was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot recommend this place enough, it’s a hidden gem. The food was absolutely delicious and so flavourful! We had the chicken momo starters, the Chhate Milan and Sangam curry and some rice and chapati to share. Everything (especially the momo) was beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was very clean and stylish. Service was very good and the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend!

Takeaway for 8 including kids from 9 to 14. We opted to pickup and the staff were efficient and friendly and it was ready to collect as I arrived. We enjoyed all the food. A great selection of flavours and dishes and we will definitely order again.
