I recently tried Brown Bag Seafood Co. and had a great experience! I ordered the grilled salmon on greens and grains and the grilled shrimp on greens and grains — both were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
The staff were very helpful when I had questions, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I’ve done both takeout and dine-in, and both were excellent.

The food (lobster roll), customer service, and environment is a 10/10!! This is my 3rd time coming to brown bag seafood and each time it amazes me how kind each worker is. The short conversations, the free candy, and the great playlist they have is truly welcoming. Love love love!

Lobster roll is yummy!
We ordered two lobster rolls one with bleu cheese tator tots and the other with Parmesan cheese tator tots. The lobster was served cold but the bun was slightly warm and buttery, toasted and flavorful. The lobster itself could have used more flavor/butter. But overall I enjoyed it. The tator tots were mid nothing special I would have preferred fries.
We also ordered the crispy cod which was crispy so if you like fried stuff then you’ll like this. It came with coleslaw which was very plain tasting could have used a pinch of salt and pepper. It also came with sweet potatoes which were soft and just okay.
We also got the blackened fish sandwich which was just okay, would not recommend. It did come with truffle fries and a mayo dip which was the highlight of the dish. The truffle fries were really good and the dip was delicious!
I could not give 5 stars bc they do not have a variety of drinks and they also don’t have ice! We asked for ice and the server said they don’t have any. So how do you keep the lobster chilled??? Just odd, I never ate at a restaurant that didn’t have ice. Very strange.
Of everything we ordered I enjoyed the lobster roll and truffle fries the best. Everything else was just okay and would not order again.
Hard to find parking.

A very nice, small seafood restaurant with a great atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly service. The salmon melted in your mouth and was seasoned perfectly. The tuna was unexpectedly cold, but had a very good flavor. I got the tuna with greens&grains. Next time, I will get the veggiebox and skip the grains, that mixture of brussel sprouts, broccoli, green beans, and lettuce was fantastic. The servers were friendly and pleasant. A definite do-over!

The ambiance is two stars at best. The employees are immature and don’t exactly match the neighborhood. I know how this sounds but there’s a reason why I choose to live in a neighborhood with educated people. I trade the markets at my desk for 4 hours a few times a week and a moonlight as a doordash courier for on my bike because I like to get out and explore the town.
I noticed restaurant employees sometimes don’t treat me as nice when they see I’m a food courier.
But if I’m a customer they treat me a lot nicer.
Also, being treated nice is one thing but proper hospitality from a better class of people is another.
Some people just don’t exude better class because they usually don’t live in their everyday lives and only try to put their best foot forward when they’re paid to.
The ambience of this place feels uncomfortable and even a little scary.
The employees and even the music they have on in there don’t seem to match the ambience that they’re trying to create.
The place is always empty.
The employees don’t look like they are sailboat enthusiast or or know much about life at sea.

Me and my wife lived in the neighborhood 9 years and I must say this was some of the best food we had in a while. The grilled shrimp veggie box was amazing and the fish sandwich was seasoned very well. We will be back soon

I really enjoyed my dinner here! I wanted something tasty and healthy and this really hit the spot! I had the Greens and Grains with the Cod. The cod was seasoned and cooked perfectly (flaky on the inside and crunchy on the outside) and i was pleasantly surprised that the greens and grains were also delicious and seasoned well. A couple lemon squeezes really brought the dish all together!
I’m honestly thinking about coming back tomorrow since it was such a good, healthy, and filling meal!

Got golden hour dinner plate with tuna, slaw and chowder. It was really good, the portion size and price were all perfect. Staffs are kind and accommodating, highly recommend!

The employees here are super rude and one of them was incredibly racist and didn’t even look at my face when I cane to pick up the order. Extremely disappointed would never come back. I would really appreciate if the girl working here in the morning is addressed about this issue by the management she acts as if she owns this place.
