Great food and service full bar, nice atmosphere on main street. Seated Immediately party of 3, ample seating. It was difficult to find parking had to park 2 blocks away in a parking lot for $5. Not bad If you’re going to stroll the town. Servers were extremely helpful. Offered the specials and we got both. They were perfect . Best pretzels we’ve had anywhere also. Lots of options for food and drinks

We visited SouthEnd Brewing in Boone as part of a food tour yesterday. Even though we are local, we just hadn’t had the opportunity to try it. Wow!!! Now we know what we have been missing all this time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner personally told us the history of this family-owned business, and you can see how much love and passion has been invested in the business. This is a labor of love. In addition to the wonderful atmosphere, the food and beer pairing we were served was absolutely incredible. We had a brisket sampler sandwich, eggplant fries with an amazing dipping sauce, and a Scottish beer. The combination was pure magic. The sandwich had the BEST combination of ingredients and flavors. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the crispy texture of the bacon was amazing, and the pillowy soft bun that never got soggy was incredible. The beer was also delicious. The owner explained the complex process of making the beer, which made me appreciate it even more. SouthEnd Brewing is the real deal: great people, serving incredible food and drinks! We will most certainly be back… and next time we’ll bring more friends to share the experience with. Thank you for an amazing experience, SouthEnd Brewing! Keep up the hard work… your passion is inspiring.

Visited briefly while on tour with Blue Ridge Food Tours and loved the food at SouthEnd! We had brisket slider and eggplant fries(didn’t even know that was a thing) and both were amazing. I’m going to dream about that dipping sauce. Beer was great and paired well. Highly recommend and I’ll be back! Yum… It’s a must try stop if you are in the Boone area.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and awesome drinks! The tuna nachos were absolutely the start of the show for us — we loved them so much we ordered a second round. Highly recommend you stopping in and giving them a try!

I visited here with my Blue Ridge Food Tours group. A fun group!
Loved the charm of your place and the staff very accommodating. The brisket sliders and the okra fries still on my mind, fantastic flavor! The beer was a perfect match with the brisket. I am a local, but now I have your place on the top five list!

Busy afternoon Valentine’s Day 2026 walked into SouthEnd Brewing and was greeted by a nice hostess that asked if we were looking for a table. We are more bar people so she said as long as it doesn’t say reserved feel free to have a seat anywhere and that goes for high tops. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars for atmosphere and service was there was a lot of bar seats reserved and one of the bar tenders what appeared to look away from customers and avoid them, the other two i interacted with were awesome and I learned later they were reserving bar seats for a hot food area during the Olympic hockey game being shown on numerous TVs so I’ll let it slide but you should never reserve bar seats. We ended up sitting by a large rollup window overlooking the sidewalk, which was amazing for people watching. We had to walk up to the bar to ordered. Two round of beers and some food and a great conversation with the people next to us, I got the chicken wings smothered in Parmesan garlic that were absolutely amazing. Probably top five. My wife had boneless dry rub what she said were delicious. The beers were great, prices a little high on the food end, beers were fair. Definitely will be back next time in Boone.

Had an awesome time on a date while visiting Boone with family. Returned the next day and hung out with friends. Nice staff, fast service. The front has an open window bar overlooking the street, perfect for people watch and enjoying the mountain air. Great selection of beers and ciders, and a full bar. The only food we tried was a basket of fries, and they were excellent. Good options for seating, indoor, outdoor, cozy corners, and dinner tables. Awesome place to chill.

Really great brewery.
We came in for lunch and had a fantastic meal. Their beers were good.
Overall we thought it was really great. I had their Cuban with fries and it was among the tastiest I’ve ever had. My wife had the hot honey chicken sandwich and loved it. She opted to have the potato salad as her side and she loved it.
It’s definitely worth a visit.

I’m typically hesitant to go to a restaurant that’s been open for one week. I like to let them work out the kinks, in some cases they stay kinked. This was not the case here. We had amazing, attentive, but not overbearing service. Our food looked and tasted delicious. The blueberry seltzer was excellent and not overly sweet as you’d typically find. Relaxing, rustic atmosphere you would expect to find in Boone. Absolutely a 10 out of 10. We are excited to go back and try more of the menu.
