My first time back here in probably 8 years. It’s still just as great as I remember. We got the L7 chicken and broccoli, combination 4 beef and broccoli, wonton soup, cheese wonton, and drinks for $26. I can’t believe they have remained so affordable over the years. Food quality was fantastic. It’s also extremely clean in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you!!

The food’s decent enough that this restaurant has pretty much been our “go to” for Chinese takeout in Fairmont when we want Chinese for the last twenty years. (Sometimes Ken’s as their eggrolls and cheese wontons are usually better). Nothing great, but consistent and they generally get the order right. My only complaint is that they don’t understand what “spicy” means. Even the dishes listed as “spicy” on their menu aren’t. And no matter how many times you ask to have the dish prepared “extra, extra spicy” when you order, it’s never prepared that way. All you get is a few extra hot sauce packets in the bag. That’s disappointing. I want to see and taste dried red chili flakes and red chili oil in and on the food!

The noodles were fine but the Mongolian beef, that I paid to get a large for, was Mongolian onions – not beef. Picture included. I could barely find any meat. I’ve never experienced that in my life.

I feel like I basically wasted $40.00 today. General Tso’s chicken was so dry and tasteless it was like chewing on cardboard and dust bunnies. Shrimp lomein was tasteless and gummy. Egg rolls were overcooked and greasy. Cheese wontons were overcooked with filling dried out to a gooey/dry (if possible) putty-like substance. I usually order from Ken’s but since this is a Monday and they are closed this was my second choice. Never again. Not even worth calling to complain or get replacements because that would never happen. Not worth the money to order from here.

I always get take out. Gen Tso’s chicken, and hot and sour soup, with beef fried rice. Yummy!! The staff/owners are congenial, service is quick and efficient. I don’t phone order in, I just order inside. Never have to wait long, I like to read while I wait, but barely get a page read and my order is ready. Atmosphere really does not come into play here, as I notice that the majority of orders are take out. Some do eat in, but either way, yummy, well prepared food.

If you call in an order prepare to get screamed at and get half of what you actually wanted. I have never come in contact with ruder employees who absolutely do not appreciate the business given to them. Also picked up our food this was supposed to be lo mein but I’m guessing they ran out of the lo mein noodles because we got spaghetti noodles.

To start they missed several things on my order, secondly my chef special….. Sesame chicken was the worst I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like an old freezer, my crab rangoons were cold and soggy. I ordered pork chow mein with fried rice and fried noodles they only gave me white rice. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had.

This is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. This is my favorite buisness compared to the other competitors. I used to go here at least once a week after work. I miss this food and I miss the guy who owns it, he is so cool. I relocated my life and moved 5 hours away. The state I moved to, I still have yet to find Chinese food as good as this.
