When we arrived to this location yesterday we were iffy bc the rating was 91. I always look at this 1st and usually will leave if its below a 97 but IHOP is my favorite restaurant of all so we decided to stay. They was only like 3 families there so we were like the wait shouldn’t be long. Upon being seated we realized there was only 3 worker there at all. The cook, a waitress and I guy that was there doing a little bit of everything. So it took a few minutes for our order to be taken but when I say thay was the best omelet I’ve ever had at a IHOP location I mean it. I absolutely love IHOP and visit them frequently wherever I am. Ive been to this particular location b4 and it was one of the worst then but yesterday it was pleasant the few workers that was there was great and the food was excellent. They took the fact that they were short staffed and overworked and still showed exceptional customer service. Those 3 workers are a excellent example of what customer service should look like

My two roommates and I came for a late breakfast/early lunch. We waited to be seated for an hour on a Sunday afternoon with only six tables actually be taken up – I counted. Three groups walked out and decided not to stay for the wait, which is understandable. Then, after we order, our waitress – who was very kind – informs us that the system is down. As someone who works in restaurants, I would have simply started writing down orders and given them to the chef as he was standing around with nothing to do – we could see him. Instead, she told us twice that she would understand if we wanted to leave as they were still waiting on the system. We finally did eventually get our food and everything tasted very good. Refills had to be asked for and could only be ordered at the very end of us finishing our food and my roommate that ordered cheddar scrambled eggs had to ask for cheddar, again towards the very end of our meal since that was when our waitress came back. My roommate also wasn’t offered a box despite having half of her meal uneaten. Overall, I’m unsure how to feel about this experience. The food was very good but with how slow it was and how long it took for us to be seated, on top of no backup plan when the POS system is down, is incredibly frustrating.
(Banana Foster pancakes were very good, pictured below)

The food was excellent the lady that waited on us was not a server she ran the line . She was a excellent team player even though they were short handed there was no compromise on quality. This was a great experience. I will be returning to this restaurant

Service was fast, waitress was kind. Food was terrible and over cooked. I don’t know if they are cutting back on silver ware but the spoon they gave me would be small for a child.

We went there for my daughters birthday breakfast inwhich they didnt have multiple servers come out to sing or candles. Table was crusty dirty, the partitions were falling apart/fell on floor, black stains near the celin vents looking like mold that looked like had been there for decades. Server then sprayed bleach on table almost bleaching my dress instead of disinfect. The wait was very long for our food meanwhile there was less then 7 tables filled, which then made our plates extremely hot, the server put hot plate infront of my child not informing her it was hot. Which made us believe food was ready way earlier then server was available. Breakfast sausages were kabasi/large hotdogs, and the traditional 3 piece bacon was 2. Quality of food was subpar. At the end I guess the server thought she wasn’t getting a tip so she put in a 15% tip in the bill, inwhich limited herself in getting a better tip if she was a better server. We were left remembering food and service the way it was in the 90s and were disappointed in the service and food we received currently. We will be going to local mom and pop breakfast diners instead from here on out. Extremely disappointing since we loved ihop in the 90s and was a milestone in our lives and wanted the same for our child. Instead our daughter was looking for disappointments in her service/food to feel included.

Avoid at all costs! i shouldve know when the parking lot was empy for an ihop and it took 10 min to be acknowledged to be sat when there was no others there.. Too quiet… seemed understaffed.. doesnt seem like they have a manager on top of anyone.. 1 hour wait on the food when again! not busy at all! just ended up leaving

First time coming here this morning and The white lady WITHOUT the glasses (sorry didn’t catch her name) was the only nice person in there that acknowledged me and with a smile. The one with glasses and the black lady that had a hair cap on had bad attitudes.

If the management doesn’t know they have a problem, the management should be replaced. This is THE SECOND time we have walked out of this location. Both times it’s been service related. The first time we waited just under 20 minutes for coffee. We walked out. Today we decided to give it a second chance, because today is Veterans Day, I am a US Navy Veteran, and wanted the veterans special. We never even got to leave our name to be seated!!! There was another couple in front of us and they also left. We wait a good 10 minutes to put our name into be seated, which NEVER happened because no one came to even take our name!!! The restaurant was HALF empty as it was near noon time. The wife and I got disgusted and left. We informed the line of about 6 people behind us that we’ve been waiting 10 minutes just to put our name in and wished them better luck. Again, this was the second time we’ve walked out of an IHOP. I’m willing to give it one more try but I’ll have to talk the wife into it because she is done with IHOP here in NC.

Edit: I’m pleased to say they were willing to fix there mistakes and they did not disappoint. The Gm and manager were so kind in offering me a late birthday meal which I was appreciative of. Thank you for inviting me back and giving my mother and I an awesome meal
Today is my birthday and I was so excited to continue my pancake tradition with ihop pancakes. I woke up bright and early Saturday at 5am to be there at 6. I arrived at 6:06 and no one was there no cars no one in the building open sign off, so I waited until 6:15. The website and the door says open at 6 but yet no one was there. This was very disappointing!

I’ve seen more life in a cemetery. If you see an empty IHOP at noon on a Sunday, run. The 91% health score is the highest thing about this place, because the service and effort are at zero. Sat for 30 minutes waiting for food while the staff acted like customers were an inconvenience to their day. It’s clear no one gives a damn about this location. Can’t wait to see the ‘For Lease’ sign in 2026.
