I C
Policy over people was the experience today

Visited mid-afternoon on a quiet Saturday. My 6-year-old asked for a cup of water and was told by the cashier that a purchase was required, even though I was about to order a coffee. I ordered a latte and forgot to specify size, and unfortunately ended up with a grande instead of my usual tall since the cashier didn’t ask which size. Ontop of that, I asked for 1 pump of syrup, and that was ignored (either thru the order put in or by the barista) despite confirming the sticker indicated “1 vanilla syrup” (not sure if this was correctly input?) but the drink was so sweet I ended up having to throw it away.

It may be worth reviewing staff training or guidance on how to handle situations like this, especially when the store isn’t busy.

Typical overhyped & overpriced busy starbucks store. It takes a constant flow of online orders which considerably slows down your order. Even if alone in the store, you need to wait for the staff to get to your order. A simple espresso, which the machine automatically makes in seconds, takes 5 minutes or so to get. You cannot sit outside and wait expecting the staff to serve it to you. You must wait standing up inside where there are no tables or chairs (anymore).

Starbucks took away the self-serve counter during the plandemic and it never came back. Now you have to ask and wait extra for the busy-with-online-orders staff to pass you a bag of sugar or a stirrer, which they usually forget to offer.

Pastries are way overpriced but not fresh as one would expect. The staff may only preheat them for you where applicable. Pastry is made off-site and delivered packed in cellophane bags, just like in Safeway where you can buy a dozen for similar price.

The whole starbucks business is rushed and sterile. One can tell it’s designed strictly after profit generation. One’s experience with respect to hanging out, relaxing, and enjoying your drink is not really important. Unless one is really stuck with their fancy sugary drinks with foreign names, a small local cafe delivers far better experience.

Your typical Starbucks. Don’t listen to people who say the service is terrible, I have never experienced it there. The staff has always been kind and reasonable to me. I would love to see them take over the closed Subway next door to add space for people to sit.

I went to get coffee today around 6:45 PM, and I ask for some room for milk. The barista gave me the cup half way (she charged full price of course). When I asked to fill a little more she said they were running out, and didn’t have any more because they were closing in 15 mins.
What kind of service is this????
Is this new from Starbucks????
Really????
Hopefully, this is just one time thing. I get coffee from this store every day because I work very close to.

Absolutely no seating inside, so I guess they’ve designed it with “We don’t want you here” in mind. Happy to oblige.
UPDATE: uh…why ask me to share with your own Care Team. You do that.

Starbucks? We all know what we go there for — coffee! LOL. Me, on the other hand, after a quick soccer pitch at Carlmont HS field, I went for one of their a nice cold drink. Hit the spot. A nice place to chill for a bit to recuperate from all that #serioussoccer running (obviously not showing a house at the moment! LOL #TheBrokerWithAHeart).

This is your average run-of-the-mill Starbucks. Very small. Perhaps 3 tables inside the store. There are a few outdoor seats additional. Gets super crowded with the folks waiting for drinks literally standing over the seats inside.

I do not recommend for any type of reading books or working on a laptop. It is near a hole-in-the-window type of joint. Fortunately, there’s a lot of places to squat and chat in the strip mall – especially next to the Waterdog Tavern.

No outlets so I got annoyed I paid for mediocre coffee (other locations make better drinks) with the intent of working. That should be on the door so customers know whether to stay or find a different location. Also, one of the workers was rudely mopping underneath my table and putting tables right next to me to cue me to leave 15 minutes before closing!

Fantastic little unpretentious diner. Pancakes were tasty and good texture, home fried potatoes awesome with just the right amount of onions and peppers. Staff was really friendly and attentive without hovering. Only downsides are that it is located right before freeway on ramp and no real Maple syrup (would be nice to offer it as a side for an extra charge).

Ride employees; Cold drink asked for them to warm it my drink sat there for thirty-ish minutes and then I finally just picked up it was still cold and I just drank it. But that was just a bad experience with one employee since then the other employees were great
