Recently got takeout for my family of four and my parents. Everyone LOVED it. Three of us had the sliced brisket sandwich and it was melt in your mouth tender. Completely normal size sandwich with a generous amount of brisket. Beans and potato salad were fantastic. My son loved the smoked sausage. Can’t wait to return!

Great people and great food! We stopped on our way back to Dallas from Lubbock and had a BBQ brisket plate, with banana pudding for dessert; so glad we stopped! All The weather was nice, so we sat at the picnic tables out front.

We’re staying overnite at the city’s RV park and found this gem of a restaurant before we parked. The brisket was fantastic, no knife required, and the sausage was great, too. The slice of white bread made me long for the original Dreamland in Tuscaloosa.
Along with the two sides were raw onions and jalapeños. And I gotta know whose grandmother’s banana pudding recipe that was.
It was cold and windy and the kind young lady who took our order invited us to pull our Airstream around in back of their place and she’d bring it out to us. At the time we were parked across the street at the gas station.
Very kind people and tremendously good food. Not sure about the previous comment about not enough to eat but we were given huge portions. Texas sized I guess you’d say!

Stopped here on our way through town. Small building with a picnic table out front. We got some ribs and they turned out to be the most tender ribs I have ever had. Very fantastic flavor as well. Well worth the stop!
