Our waitress, she was dead on the money, very timely greeting us after we were seated and very attentive throughout our dining. Of course she offered the desert menu and although, we were stuffed, because of her great service we couldn’t say no, and ordered cheese cake and key lime pie. It was packed to go after eating half, very delicious
Our food was piping hot, very tasty, and cooked to perfection!! The lamb chops were ordered medium well and they were cooked as ordered as well as, the stuffed chicken.
The size portions were plentiful, and by the time I ate my bread and dabbed into our sides. I only had room for one chop, so, we had to carry out our leftovers which was secured in foil inside of a carry out container. I thought was an excellent choice.
The following Monday, my husband and so conversation was about how much of a good time we had and we really enjoyed our food and service.
All I to say, we’ll see you soon!! ❤️
Both the waitress and waiter were made aware of the situation, including the insect in the food, yet no action was taken. There was no attempt to address the issue, replace the dish, involve a manager, or offer an apology, which was unacceptable.
To make matters worse, the steaks were horrible and far below the quality expected from a restaurant of this reputation and price point. Overall, the lack of food quality, cleanliness, and staff response made this experience very disappointing.
For a high-end restaurant, this level of service and sanitation is unacceptable. We left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.
This has been on my list for years. Finally got in. Don’t get me wrong, I could come any day, but to get a RSVP on Valentine’s Day is nearly impossible.
Oddly the front desk area is very tight but friendly. The seating area is wide open. They have valet too. A little pricey compared to many steak establishments but worth the money. You get what you pay for. My steak was cooked medium and served on a 500F HOT plate and sizzling. No issues. Was expecting more for a $75 steak meal or better. Really wanted the PORTERHOUSE FOR TWO. I know the meat is considered the best in the country. “They use USDA Prime cuts of beef, which is considered the best quality in the United States”.
I had the New York bone-in steak(Ruth’s favorite). My wife had the surf and turf (with two Jumbo lobster tail). Bread and butter were soft, good and perfect. All were delicious. I loved the crab cakes(served on 500F plate). Excellent.
It was a dinning experience. Good staff. Quiet atmosphere. A welcome restaurant. A mix of guest. Great place for a quiet romantic date or event. Perfect evening.
Will come again.
Highly recommended
The steakhouse is located in Troy, just off of big Beaver Road and a real nice area.
When we walked in, we’re a little bit shocked to see the clientele in the restaurant. It started off with a security guard by the door with a body cam on. We’ve never eaten at a steakhouse where we had to see a security guard with a body cam.
So we went to sit at the bar and the bartender. Sean greeted us. He was really nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Unfortunately, the clientele eating at the bar was not our type. We don’t wanna be judgmental, but it was very ratchet! As people came in through the front door to pick up their carry out orders, many of them if not most of them reeked like marijuana. You could smell marijuana in the place, as a matter of fact, the employees sprayed disinfectant in the air as people left because they smelt so bad.
For the amount of money you pay for a great food, you expect great atmosphere, and a great environment to eat your food in. Unfortunately, we will not be back!
With all that being said, our food was actually really good. We were there for happy hour and had the $45 Cabernet and steak, and the zucchini fries. The food was good, a little bit overpriced and we did not enjoy the atmosphere.
