Updated: Went to try the new Moonbeam ice cream, it was delicious. Heavy on the blueberry flavor and the white chocolate chunks melt in your mouth! Interior is typical ice cream shop, there is a lot of seating for downtown, but it gets packed quickly, especially on the weekends. Parking can be a hassle because it’s downtown, but give Moonbeam ice cream a shot. Sorry for the misinformation! They don’t charge per weight for the cones!

It’s a very nice dessert place to go especially when you’re roaming around downtown, Colorado Springs. The staff were very friendly and we tried their nachos purple mountain majesty and it was really delicious. They’re open late at night so really easy to eat an ice cream when you’re craving for one.

The service was great. All of the workers were very nice and gave me as many samples as I wanted! The ice cream was yummy, I got Cookie Butter Crumble and Dutch Chocolate. The atmosphere was nice and they had a chalkboard for anyone to draw on. Its family friendly and overall I think its a great spot to come for ice cream and shakes!

Oatmeal ice cream. Oatmeal cookies can make me drink an entire gallon of milk in one sitting. Oatmeal ice cream easily eliminates the thirst for milk, recipe 4 disaster. Magical.

I was visiting Downtown Colorado Springs for business and stopped by Josh & John’s for ice cream on my final night in town because a trip is never complete without trying local ice cream.
I’m glad we stopped in after dinner. I ordered their popular “Purple Mountain Majesty” ice cream, which is made of taro and raspberry truffle. Pretty good but not stellar.
The young lady helping with the orders was really upbeat the night we stopped in and provided good service. It was really busy when we went in but we enjoyed the ambiance.
Overall, nice spot to check out on Tejon in Downtown Colorado Springs. We enjoyed eating this just outside the building in the crisp (for a Californian) evening.

It’s always good to get ice cream from Josh and John’s. Got a waffle cone with almond joy and purple mountain majesty. And a waffle cone with cookies and cream and malted mazel toff they were delicious. Friendly employees and great atmosphere!

Excellent ice cream and fun flavors. Worth waiting in line! We stopped by after dinner and the line was out the door, but the ice cream was worth the wait. They have lots of mainstay flavors including some interesting ones like the purple mountain majesty which is a taro ice cream, but they also have a rotating menu of special flavors. All of the ice cream was delicious including the home made waffle cones. I would definitely recommend stopping by an supporting a local business.

Salted Peanut Butter Cup and Mocha Java Jolt – you can’t go wrong with these two! My family and I are regulars and are so grateful for the staff and delicious local ice cream. Be sure to check out their coupons they sell around Christmas time to save a lot of money!

Tried Josh&Johns for a date night and it was great!! The young man who helped us out was very sweet to us! I got a waffle cone with strawberry ice cream and rainbow sprinkles! Husband got the cookies and cream flavor!!
