The only issue we had is the menu online did not match the menu we were given at the table and the meal I was planning on having had to change. Paige took great care of us, knew the ingredients of dishes well, and made sure we enjoyed our friend’s Birthday Dinner. I had the Spiced carpaccio bruschetta for starters. Then crab ravioli with Miso & Carmalized honey crème brûlée for dessert. Pasta was freshly made with a “decent” size of crab with the current cost of food, and the crème brûlée had a very unique taste and texture, which was so good, I almost wanted to order another to go! Haha.

BLG is by far the best Italian restaurant I have eaten at anywhere. Amazing food wonderful service all in a very warm and inviting environment. The egg and lobster bruschetta we started with was recommended by our bartender and was simply elegant. Soft scrambled rich eggs with large chunks of lobster, cream cheese and chive folded in on top of a toasted slice of bread. Rodge’s second recommendation was the Bolognese with made in house Mafalda pasta. The Bolognese was rich and flavorful and the Mafalda pasta was perfect. We also ordered the Brussel Sprouts which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. For dessert Rodge highly recommended the Gjetost Cheesecake. Made from rich goats milk this was the best cheesecake ever. Besides every dish we tried being perfect the service was just as good. Friendly and efficient with style and grace. Plates were cleared quickly and quietly refilling water when ever the glass was half full. Do yourself a favor and get here as soon as possible you wont regret the decision or that you waited so long.

Steve was our server in the bar and was great. We snagged the last high top table for a late dinner and he helped accommodate as best he could. They kept the table cleared and food came out quickly. We thought everything was delicious just not a fan of their crab ravioli which was just meh and the pasta tasted more like pierogi dough. As you can see by the picture it looked like pierogi as well.
The rabbit, anchovies toast and all the other dishes were delicious.

This place never misses! With a fun atmosphere, exceptional service and outstanding food, we walk away happy every time! I love the various Italian dishes available and highly recommend any of the bruschetta options they have. This time we weren’t super hungry, so split the spaghetti carbonara, a Caesar salad (done the right way!) and a standard bruschetta with garlic. It was delicious and even though we ate more than we thought, we still had a little left over. If you haven’t been here or it’s been awhile, find your way in to Bar La Grassa, you’ll be very happy that you did!

Excellect food and atmosphere. The service was really good. We tried the chicken entree and few other pasta and all were very delicious. Tried the drinks and they were good as well. Five star rating overall.
Again, Nice ambiance and atmosphere. Fun place.
Parking is street only and is an issue sometimes.
There are long waits in weekends , we waited for 30 mins to be seated. Better to reserve seat and go.

I was looking forward to getting to know this place because several times I hadn’t gotten a table. If the grade was 0-10 I would give it a 6.5. As a starter we ordered arancini and a Parma prosciutto bruschetta where I tasted a little like oil, the arancini was delicious.
The pasta was delicious and the dessert, cheesecake was excellent. I don’t recommend sitting on the counter because it’s uncomfortable and extremely tight. The service is good, the cleanliness leaves a little to be desired.

We were served by Christina, who had excellent recommendations. I’ve been to numerous Italian restaurants, and BLG is undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. Everything was so flavorful and fresh, a delight to the taste buds and senses.
The charred onion bruschetta – it was done so well – 6/5
Ricotta and Picked tomato bruschetta – 4/5
Gnocchi with cauliflower and orange – 5/5
Mushroom Taleggio Agnolotti – 6/5
Crispy Insalata – 5/5
The gjetost Cheesecake and salted caramel Crespelle were both good in their own way 4/5.
BLG exceeded expectations. An amazing experience. I can’t wait to visit again.

I wanted to like this place, I had heard great things from a few different people but unfortunately was very disappointed. First of all, I got the most informal “confirmation text” that I thought was weird so I called to confirm my reservation instead. I then arrived at 8:36 for my 8:30 reservation. When I got to the host stand to check in the host said they had given our table away because we were late and would have to wait a few minutes and we sat down around 8:45 by a different host who wasn’t all that pleasant. This isn’t that big of a deal but I work at a restaurant as well and don’t give tables away until the 15 min grace period is up, so that’s just a small note for their team. Once we sat, we were greeted with waters right away and our server came shortly after and he was wonderful. He let me sample a few different wines (none of which were great) until I finally just picked one. For food; my friend is dairy free and there weren’t a lot of realistic or appealing options for her and she left hungry and unfulfilled. My food was simply not good. I got the ziti with shrimp and a side of focaccia, both of which lacked flavor or anything memorable about them. Then I did sit there without water for about 10 minutes. The ambiance is cute I gu as but all in all it was just an ok experience and we probably won’t be back.

Our server was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and made the experience fun. We arrived with a reservation but still had to wait for a table, which was a bit disappointing. The busser, however, was abrupt—placing and removing items without warning, even when our hands were in the way. It felt off, especially given how great our server was. The food was slightly above average. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a one-time visit or a casual get-together with friends, but not somewhere I’d rush back to.

Very great service. Everyone in staff is moving fast and very professional. The food was amazing! Our favorite was the mushroom pasta.
Definitely would come back. We came for our anniversary and it fit the vibe well.
