Been a fan of Anne Arundel Seafood for 7 years now. The food is ALWAYS FRESH and DELICIOUS. The service A+ in a ‘Welcome home’ kind of way (that is pretty prolific for the area particularly for the package stores in Maryland ♂️). They always make me feel like they authentically appreciate your patronage and that alone makes you want to swing around again. The set up is interesting as you can get literally any type of seafood you’re looking for fried, steamed, & raw respectively! Dining room is comfortable but occasionally drafty in the cooler months. This seafood house has been here a very long time! At least over 30 years or more! I’ve left Anne Arundel in 2000 and haven’t been here since geeez maybe 1996. A long time ago. Sure do miss this place. If ever in Pasadena again definitely stopping in to get some seafood!

Food was awesome, but service not so great. Suggestion is know what you want before you get there. There are 2 areas to order from – steamed section and the fried section. They wait on you like vultures like hurry the heck up. Not much patience.

My fav here is the mixed seafood sub. Squeeze some lemon over it. Sooo good! I got carryout. The sub was over stuffed with goodness! It was difficult to find the roll. Lol. Use two hands to pick it up and enjoy.

We’ve been meaning to try this after moving to the area last year. What a great no-frills seafood place. You seat yourself and grab some paper to cover your table.
There is a room with raw items, that you can get steamed (crabs, crab legs, mussels, shrimp, clams, veggies, etc). We ordered a dozen raw oysters for $18. They also have beer by the bottle or on tap too. There is also another room where you can order fried/baked items and salads, and soups (crab cakes, fried oysters, hush puppies, etc).
They have a service area with all the sauces, seasonings, vinegars, cocktail sauce, old bay, etc).
Prices are great, everything is fresh, and very casual. Great spot to bring an out of town guest who wants to sample all the MD seafood has to offer.

The best place to go if you’re ever driving through Maryland. The staff is incredible. If you’re a newbie to eating crabs, they’ll notice and give you a little how-to on breaking them down. Flavor is immaculate. Can’t wait to return!!

Unless you come for steamed seafood or raw oysters don’t bother. Not only does the restaurant smell like seafood that’s gone bad but some of the food tasted like it had gone bad. The crab dip way gray and fishy-tasting. I could not even eat it. The hush puppies were dry and over cooked. The mozzarella sticks were served warm not hot with cold cheese int the middle and a pre wrapped dipping sauce. The chicken tenders on the kids menu was hard and super overcooked looked like it was fried for a 2nd time to heat it up. I didn’t dare try the calamari because everyone in my party took one bite and said they didn’t want another piece it was “gross”. Other than the poor quality sides, fried dishes and appetizers, If I wanted to get fresh seafood steamed for me I would go to the grocery store seafood counter it is the same quality. The tables stink and have gunk in the cracks and crevises. Overall I will not be back and I understand why there was only one other party there on a Friday near the holidays at 630 pm.

Crab and oyster quality was amazing. Loved the raw oysters on the half shell. Ordered potato salad but got macaroni salad which was also very good. Sandwich, salad and crabs need to be ordered in the other section. Seafood sampler missed an ear of corn but they fixed it right away. The corn was super sweet and loaded with butter. The price for a pitcher of premium beer was also reasonable. Will definitely return next time in the area.
