I got a kids meal because that was the only option I could find on the menu that was. Single patty. The portion was good though, just enough for me. Husband got the chili cheese dog and said it was cold. I checked the temperature and it was not hot, but not cold like a refrigerator. The dog wasn’t even in the bun, it was to the side of the bun; very sloppy.
There was no ice in the ice machine and there was a note to ask the counter for ice. That seemed dumb to me that they weren’t just proactive to let customers know at time of order that it’s broken and ask did we want ice in our cups. Because you find out when you’re filling your cup, then you need to wait again to get your ice.
changed review from 2 stars to 1 to reflect them coming and asking me to go to their website to fill out a contact form to put me in touch with the store, no thank you, that’s kind of the whole point of leaving a review, not so I can give you feedback on your website as well.
We did receive the wrong order, but staff was friendly enough to immediately make the burgers new. Everyone can make a mistake and I wasn’t upset. Then the manager comes forward and told me I ordered my 2 cheeseburgers wrong. Then he proceeded to yell at his staff about how to take orders the correct way. It was so unprofessional talking like that I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed. They forgot the cheese on the cheeseburgers and left all the condiments that we ordered off both sandwiches so I’m not sure if it was even my fault at all, or the cooks fault, or the person taking the orders. The manager made sure to let us all know that we all messed up somehow. He then handed me very messy, gross looking sandwiches that looked like he threw together mad and blind folded. My son didn’t even want to eat his anymore. That was our first experience with Grandma at Freddy’s and we don’t want to go back again. Especially if that’s how management treats their customers and staff!
I relayed to one of the staff around 930pm that most places won’t be giving out veteran specials this late, so I was happy Freddy’s had this voucher. Shortly afterwards I received two free custards and many thanks for my service. I was touched by how heartfelt the team cared for their job and for veterans.
Personally I’ve never been to a Freddy’s before, but this first impression put other drive thrus to shame.
I will now definitely be coming back to not only this location but several Freddy’s based on this behavior. Thank you to the Freddy’s team for making my night.
Travel this way very frequently will stop in again. I believe the gentleman that served us was Antonio or something like that it’s tattooed on his arm. He needs an attaboy it’s a good worker.
I ended up having the double steak burger California style, and their signature turtle concrete desert item. It was excellent.
Their fry sauce is reminiscent of In & Out Burger, and their shoestring fries I would say are better than Steak & Shake’s. Their beef patties are thin like Steak and Shake’s which I really enjoyed. For those like me who enjoy a bit of spice, they offer a jalapeno fry sauce which I added to my burger and ate my fry’s with. A staff member even collected the garbage from my table as she was sweeping the floor. I will be back.
It’s definitely worth what I’m paying for and I’ll keep coming back!
