We went there on Saturday afternoon for the crispy pork knuckles( I don’t remember what’s called but they’re going so fast) and Hefe Weizen Mango flavor. We also had pretzel as an appetizer and everything was good

Fun atmosphere and place to have drinks and have food with friends and family. They had live music when which was cool! The potato pancakes were very very deep fried were not the best but the pierogies were pretty good. The fried onions were different not bad but probably would ask for them without the onions. Also the service was good.

Southworks side neighborhood is great area to stay when in Pittsburgh. We went in Hofbrauhaus for drinks, place was quite and performer playing for diners. We dined on the patio , enjoyed bier, wine, and small bites. By the time we made our way out, place was packed and great vibes with live music and songs. Great flavors of bier and wines were good too. View of the Monongahela river was icing on the top!! Place has all the fun vibes, come and enjoy regardless of group size. They even have a separate area for special events.

I have been here before for regular dinner service and the food is always really tasty. Most recently I was here for an event, the food was supposed to be appetizers but it was more than plenty and tons of variety, plus dessert. I had a cocktail recommended by one of the servers and it was delicious. I know they have a great selection of beer too but I don’t drink beer too often. The service is always great.

A nice German-style tavern. Lot’s of room even for larger parties. The beer was good, but the food could have been better. The quality of the sausage meat & spices was not of the highest caliber. It was still decent though and the sauerkraut was very good.

Amazing food and great service. We had a great dinner with the Munich sampler, the bratwurst chili, the pork shank, and kids menu of schnitzel and mini corndogs. Hubby had the beer on tap and enjoyed every bite and drink. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you want a chill dinner in a large dining hall. Noise level was medium/high but they also have a pretty patio area. They carry Pepsi products for those who are particular about their soda

The food was incredibly tasty. The only complaint I had was that the potatoes in the German potato could have been done a bit longer. It is a little loud, so not a great place for intimate conversations

Amazing food! It’s very authentic and great quality. The prices are honestly expensive, but it’s worth the splurge to me. The beer is also amazing, and they have flavors you can add to the beer as well. I highly recommend the ham and cheese sandwich, the beer cheese fries, the Black Forest cake, and the jagersnitzel!

The Hofbräuhaus keg tapping is an unforgettable experience that blends tradition, excitement, and German charm. From the keg parade before the keg tapping to the pouring of the keg; the energy in the room is electric. The live music, authentic German beer, and festive atmosphere make you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Munich. The staff is friendly and engaging, and the quality of the beer is outstanding—smooth, fresh, and perfectly poured. It’s more than just a drink; it’s a celebration of culture and community. Truly an excellent event that should not be missed!
