Was a great experience. For a Friday there was no wait time (arrived around 6pm). Seated rather quickly. There was not a terribly long wait between starter and main. Servings were beyond expectation. Our waitress didn’t let our drinks get below half before asking if we needed refills. And I can’t express enough just how great the food was!!!

My fiancé, future mother-in-law, and I were in Weirton on very challenging circumstances, but Dee Jay’s was absolutely terrific, and truly helped us make it through (and the BBQ was delicious). Jennifer made my fiancé a terrific drink after a very tough week, Jayda was an excellent host who provided an excellent guest experience, and Mike was an outstanding general manager who went above and beyond. We will definitely be back next time we are in Weirton.

(I have a gluten sensitivity) This was probably one of the best meals my hubby n I have had in YEARS! From start to finish! The server (Michelle D) did not get frustrated or irritated w/my food questions . That happens ALOT. Seriously amazing food. Both the sidewinder fries and fresh fried potato chips have no coating, but they are fried in a common frier. The French onion dip was amazing, the Italian dressing on the salad- i wish they bottled and sold it. Ribs were fall off the bone~outstanding, beef on weck sandwich was delicious. Drinks were spot on also. Before tip under $100. If we lived nearby, def would be dangerous for us. Def a must go!

Ended up here twice while visiting the area. First night because it was down the street from motel. Had the ribs and shrimp combo, with side salad and green beans. Sad salad was the best of the meal. For the price small section of ribs and four shrimp. Ribs were maybe boiled or done in slow cooker with some sauce. Shrimp nothing special. Green beans no seasoning. Others in party, 2 had the cheese steak, 1/2 rack of ribs, and pulled pork sandwich. Sides of sidewinder fries and a coleslaw. Cheese steaks were rated pretty good. Ribs ok but only ate about half. Pulled pork really good. Nobody much cared for yhe soggy sidewinders. Coleslaw an ok.we aren’t sure who our server was since three different people served us.
Night two, because the family we were visiting decided to go there for a birthday party when first choice booked full. Server was fantastic very fun and hospitable. She done a great job taking care of our group of twenty. Food was good overall. Some had the chicken and raved on how good it was. Nobody had the sidewinders, sweet potato fries was the choice. They were familiar, said never get the sidewinders. My Samon salad was fairly good, salmon a bit overcooked. A few had ribs but reports were mixed. If in the area may try again, choices are limited. Think it’s geared more to sandwiches.

Overpriced generic no flavor food. Ribs tasted boiled in liquid smoke water with zero meat flavor. I’ve had better pulled pork from a microwave. Jalapeno Mac n cheese didn’t taste like cheese or jalapeño, but like water. Baked beans tasted like a basic can of pork n beans with a touch of red peppers and bacon, but somehow didn’t add any additional flavor. Service was wonderful and the restaurant is beautiful.

Nice lady waited on us, but other stuff not so good. First it was dark in the dining room and was hard to see the menus. I understand mood lighting but I held the menu up to the light to read it better. Drink was pretty watered down. Then the to go cup was the wrong refill. I got the BBQ chicken, it tasted alright but was dry. I asked for extra sauce. My wife’s ribs were dry too. Plus the receipt says they charge you for using a card to pay for your meal. Longhorn doesn’t. Why do I have to pay to pay for my meal! It’s like going to the store and getting 2 bags of groceries and the store charging you for three bags. Plus the prices are high. I heard someone say the salads are big but 15.99 for a salad and 17.99 for another one they had on the menu?? I wanted one but I’m not paying 17.99 for a salad and I’m not a fan of tomatoes and cucumbers anyway. For 49.99 I could have had a steak at Longhorn! Plus the bread wasn’t even baked! Like they just put a piece of bread on the plate from a loaf!

Family of 5 (late lunch or early dinner). The place is clearly popular and they were busy. The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t top notch. I guess all these amazing reviews had me expecting something just a little different.
Loved all the pineapple decor.
Everything was cooked well. Fried food was good too. The gyro needs more than just meat and sauce (but who goes to a BBQ place and orders a gyro anyways?!)
They’ll charge you for every little thing, which is annoying. Example: the onion rings come with a horseradish sauce. We asked for ranch instead and received just the ranch but paid extra for it. Or the fact that we ordered a drink for our 7 yr old, received a kids size, and paid the same as a full size drink.
