Faro opened his first pizza shop in 1978 and by 1987 had seven more. In 1990, he sold the franchise planning to move to Sicily, but the family returned to Grand Rapids. In 1996, he opened Uccello’s Ristorante Pizzeria & Sports Lounge on East Beltline, which has since grown to six locations. In 2016, Uccello’s Hospitality Group launched Herb & Fire Pizzeria in Grandville, later adding a second at Knapp & East Beltline. UHG now has eight locations, inspired by Faro’s philosophy: Always strive to give your guest more than they would normally expect. Provide people the opportunity to enjoy great food and the hospitality to match. You must always strive to be better in everything, and never compromise on top quality in any area.

The food and the service were excellent. I was a little afraid that being placed in the back corner we would be forgotten but the waitress was on top of everything. The atmosphere is a sports bar, so if you are looking for quiet this is not the place. Very good family feel and kids had a great time. Would recommend.

Came in for dinner, and was seated right away. Service was great, and our waitress was very attentive. We had a couple of issues with our orders. Once we addressed them staff was accommodating and handle everything appropriately. Things sometimes happen.

If you aren’t from around here , you probably can’t pronounce Uccello’s , but you won’t need to once you fill your mouth with yummy eats and drinks! It’s a fun sports bar with Italian flair ! The pizza is great and many other dishes as well, some Italian, some American. Lots of TVs and a lively atmosphere add to the experience! The lemon Martini was refreshing and the Esspesso Martini closes the deal ! So you need to go to Uccello’s ( You Chell O s ) as soon as you can !!!

We stopped in near dinner time. Seated right away. Ordered the season cocktails and they were tasty. We ordered different dishes such as the salmon salad with balsamic dressing and blue cheese crumbles. The taste of Italy was fantastic. We split that and it came out on two plates for us.

I was very happy to have Kameryn as my waitress tonight! If she’s reading this she really deserves a million dollars because her service was top notch. When she found out it was my birthday she immediately started making a strawberry short cake and gave it to me and my family. The food in general was also good. You are literally missing out if you don’t get pizza puffs.

Always good food at any of the Uccello’s I’ve been too and this location was no exception. Quick friendly service. Good sports bar atmosphere but wish there was a spot that was separated and devoid of TVs if I wanted to have a quiet meal to enjoy the great food. Overall still one of our favorite local chains to eat.
