Since its founding by Mr. Bing-Yi Yang in Taiwan in 1972, Din Tai Fung has become world-renowned for its quality, consistency and service. Originally founded as a cooking oil retail business, Din Tai Fung was reborn as a steamed dumpling and noodle restaurant in 1972. Wonderful place. Their food is consistently good. Mochi dumplings are Make reservations of get on waitlist as you’re driving there for best results. You can shop while you’re waiting too. Fun to watch them make the dumplings, they’ve got skillz!!

This is the 4th location of Din Tai Fung that I’ve made it to, and they never disappoint. An amazing meal like always, and some of the friendliest staff you will find anywhere. My family are superfans of this restaurant and highly recommend you go if you can. Braised Beef Soup is a must have, along with the soup dumplings you know you will devour. Beef Tenderloin dish is also amazing!

We had an incredible experience yesterday. Our server Charles was incredibly kind and attentive. He was quick to attend to everything we needed, double checked our order to explain flavors so we were pleased. Very much appreciated the kindness and hospitality, we will be back because of him.

The flavors are incredible. The spices memorable and each dish is uniquely delicious. This is one of our favorites for ordering and sharing everything. Incredible quality and crafted food.

We live an hour away. When we left home I checked waitlist and it was a 90-100min wait. We joined waitlist. We were 25 min from the restaurant when we received a text message saying that we must arrive within 15min otherwise we will be removed from the list. I called location and they said they will see what they can do. Uugghh we would have made it just fine if the wait time estimate was right. We get there and the reception lady said we have to just join the waitlist again which is up to an hour. We asked to speak with the guy we spoke with on the phone. A manager came and was able to get us seated in 20min instead of an hour.

We ordered spicy chicken wontons… AMAZING! A must order! If I come again I will definitely do a double order of these.

We also ordered the crab & kurobuta Pork Xaio along bao and the kurobuta park XLB. We were not a fan of the crab. They were too fishy tasting. The server came by and replaced them with chicken. Thank you!

The mix of vinegar and soy sauce that they recommend (3:1 ratio) tastes like communion wine. We ended up making our own mixes of sauces. The XLB with the spicy wonton sauce… mmm so good!

Overall service and food was awesome! We appreciated not having to wait the full hour.

They offer a good variety of vegetarian options. The vegetable dumplings and wontons are a must-try, and the vegetarian fried rice is quite good, although it tends to be oily. While vegetable noodles are available, it’s important to note that the noodles themselves are made with meat products, so if you’re strictly vegetarian like me, it’s best to avoid them.

The ambience is excellent, and the service is exceptional. The location inside the mall makes it a convenient stop, especially on busy days. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins usually wait around 10–15 minutes, depending on the crowd.

For dessert, there are a few decent options. I enjoyed the chocolate bun, though personally, I’d prefer a pastry or dessert from somewhere like The Cheesecake Factory. Still, it’s nice to have some sweet choices available within the restaurant.

The service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful in recommending dishes. Our food was served promptly, with no waiting time, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Given the restaurant’s popularity, making a reservation in advance is highly recommended, especially on weekends. It’s often fully booked, which is a clear testament to the quality of the food and the overall dining experience.

I absolutely love dining here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Chinese food.

I always have a good experience here and across all the other locations I’ve been to with very consistent food. I love the crab and pork xiaolongbao, potstickers, and their new shaved snow with mango. I could honestly eat three of the mango shaved snow desserts all by myself.

The service is very fast, plenty of servers. The environment is very enjoyable too with modern decorations. The food is good too and not too pricey esp. the hand-made dumping. Even though, the food is quick and quiet tasty but some of it were not warm but more like at room temperature so they might be prepared a bit long before.

The food was really good. The prices a bit to high but the wait is absolutely ridiculous. 2 plus hour to then sit in tables so close you basically eat with the next table. In my opinion is not worth it to dine in. Order to go or at the bar.
