We stopped for breakfast while visiting the finger lakes. Simply Jimmy’s is homey and has a big menu. Overall we were most impressed with the service. There was one server who was able to take care of the entire place by herself. She did an amazing job. Another plus was brunch time on a weekday and they were happy to make breakfast or lunch. We decided on a Sicilian panini, they were able to make it on gluten free bread, and a garbage plate. The sandwich was good and I was thrilled they offered sweet potato fries. The garbage plate came out with a raw, still frozen burger. The server apologized, took it back and had it remade. She was also kind enough to take it off the check. Overall not a bad experience but not sure how the cook didn’t notice sending out a frozen burger.

A nice new restaurant in the area, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good sized menu with lots of breakfast options, paninis, wraps, burgers, homemade soup and dinner entrees. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She quickly took back our tasty but cold soup (a problem with their steam table was the culprit). Both of our lunches were very good. Their prices seem on par with the other restaurants in the area. They take cash and credit cards.
So, we have been back here 4 times now, and things appear to be going downhill. The 2nd and 3rd trip the AC appeared to be off. It was warm inside, but not unbearable. The back door was open with a large fan blowing in outside air. Today (July 3rd) we arrived at 12:40, three other parties came in just after us. At 12:50 a waitress came over and asked, in a loud voice, if anyone told us they were closing early, at 1:00. We said no, we had been sitting there for 10 minutes with no service. She said there was a sign on the door saying they were closing at 1. We left and checked the door – no sign. To be fair, there was a piece of paper on the floor inside the door that may have been the sign.
Been back a couple of more times, and things have improved. I think staffing was their problem, which seems to be resolved. We tried dinner for the first time, the Haddock French was very good.

Pretty good overall. The food was tasty I had rue ROC burger without cheese. My friend had a chix salad wrap. Cool that they grilled it. Good prices, friendly staff. I shall return.

First thing I noticed was it was very clean n felt warm walking in. It was really busy but it was mothers day. Good food . They do expect credit cards/debt with 4% charge or cash.

We ended up here by accident but we’re pleased with everything! Our waitress Abby was friendly despite the place being slammed and we even made some art while waiting for our eggs! Great experience!

1st time coming to this place. My wife and I had a simple order- med-rare cheese burger w/ fries. I ordered the 222- over medium eggs no powdered sugar on my French toast. My wife’s burger was cooked well and my eggs were over easy- French toast had powdered sugar. Told the waitress, she stated I’ll get that fixed for you. Came back with just the French toast and turned around to do something else. Got her attention and asked where my eggs were. She said oh I didn’t know. Poured me and my wife a coffee (she was drinking hot tea). She quickly left again and again got her attention told her about the tea and when questioned about the eggs stated the cook was making them and the French toast was done 1st.
Needless to say we will not be back. FYI to the owners- your wait staff should not be wearing crocs without socks. Completely unacceptable and disgusting.

So I saw some iffy reviews but wanted to give this place a shot. I had a great experience the first time and decided to wait to review until I went a second time, because of some previous reviews. It was great both times, myself and my two kids loved the food. Our server Tasha was awesome, friendly, and attentive. In the words of my 14 year old son BOTH time we went “it’s the best buffalo chicken sandwich I have ever had”. I had the traditional garbage plate the first time and it was good. The second time I had the special everything breakfast “garbage plate” and it was amazing!
So if any of those previous reviews were true, it does seem like they are really putting in the effort to be better in all aspects. Both of my experiences have been awesome.

We stopped here for breakfast as we were passing through town. We were seated right away, we were brought some delicious hot coffee and greeted by our waitress quickly. The food was delicious and the prices were very fair. Portion sizes were very large. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots we have gone to so far, I just wish it was closer to home!
