The service is decent – I’ll give you that…but it’s because there is absolutely nobody in there, ever.
The food choices are dismal – the only good thing they have is grilled cheese and soup. But…it’s for like $25.
The fries with bacon…don’t do it! There is so much garlic on it that you’ll scare anyone you’re taking to for 2 days.
The burger we ordered – medium well, came out bleeding red.
The margarita was way too sweet – too much triple sec.
There are no good appetizers and everything is overpriced.
I took my daughters there and they split a grilled cheese and soup, chicken wings, and fries. I got a beer – it was $100.
This place is struggling and it’s because of the food quality and options…and it’s very expensive.
No bueno.
Kid’s meal: $7 for a small plate of noodles with a hint of butter and Parmesan. Plus a Root beer. Noodles weren’t terrible, but lacked much flavor and were served barely warm.
$18.99 for a crispy chicken sandwich and fries. First of all, the chicken was great. Good cook on it with a nice crunchy coating. The slaw and other components of the sandwich were quite good as well. The bun was not good. Dense but somehow very dry. The fries have a fresh “house fries” appearance but were also oddly dry. Served piping hot, they weren’t too bad, but if they are served just warm they were off.
I hope things improve and the finished product eventually stands out compared to the competition. But for now, there are better options at a lower price point.
My $50 steak was the most disappointing thing I’ve ever purchased in my life. Half of the 16 ounce steak was pure fat. As you can see in the picture. And honestly, the flavoring was not good at all. Well salted and pepper steak would’ve been better. But I guess that comes down to taste. Gristle and fat,, and even the brussels sprouts were pretty awful. Had two of them.
I was thinking “It can’t possibly be as bad as some of the reviews” and I wanted a steak. Boy was I wrong.
It is clean and we like the new feel inside.
Our servers were so attentive, down to the little details. It was crazy how quick our food arrived. My husband and I split an ordered of fish and chips. I was delighted that the fish and chips were not greasy at all. The tartar sauce is so good!! The servers returned often to make sure we didn’t need more tartar sauce. (Thanks Patrick!)
We won’t be strangers.
We tried to get on the waitlist online but that wasn’t working. We then tried to find a phone number, and they don’t have one listed. You just have to call the old Burche number.
We then ordered drinks and our food because we had plenty of time to look at the menu before someone came over to us. The poor wait staff was so understaffed for a Friday night. My drink came out, and my husbands didn’t because they had a hard time finding the bourbon.
It took a long time for our food to come out and when it did…it didn’t look great. My husband got the chicken and waffle and everything on his plate was burnt to a crisp.
I got the bacon bacon burger and it had to bacon jam on it. I asked the waitress about the bacon jam and she went back and asked the kitchen, and then informed her that they didn’t have it yet because they just opened. The bacon jam is the main reason why I get the burger. The back of the house or the manager did that girl a disservice by not telling her what they didn’t have before she started taking orders.
To top it off, the couple beside us who got in about 5min after us got their food as we were leaving. Our server was very kind and she understood our frustration and we made sure she knew it was nothing she did!
It seems it’s being very poorly managed. If you weren’t ready to open and can’t meet the demands of growing Bonney lake, then maybe it shouldn’t have opened when it did.
Came back for dinner on a Sunday night. They were out of a lot of things but what we did end up eating was pretty good. Evenings seem a lot more chaotic than the morning. Wasn’t too busy either.
