We had a wonderful date night here! Great music, lighting, and ambiance. The food was delicious. We got several small plates to share and everything was great. Interesting flavor combinations exited the palette with each bite. I got an old fashioned and the momo honey and the were really good.

Japanese inspired small plates dining experience. Reservation is recommended but walk ins are welcome. Outdoor dining is also available. We had a group of 6 and we all got one plate for everyone to try. We sampled lacto fries, Korean fried chicken wings, chicken karaage, mushroom karaage, dumplings, pork belly and chicken skewers. Happy hour is from 4-7pm but definitely call to confirm. Food and drinks were delicious. We’ll definitely be back when it’s not busy.

My Husband wanted to try a new place for his birthday dinner. I’m not sure how but he found this place. I always get nervous trying new things because it’s either hour or miss. I can honestly say i’m impressed! 10/10 will definitely be a regular. The vibes, food and staff are immaculate. The best part is they have so many gluten free options! It’s hard to find good food when you have dietary restrictions so that impressed me even more. Can not recommend them enough.

Delicious food and beautiful restaurant! For shareables, we tried the chicken karaage, potato salad, cucumbers, dumplings. All were very tasty but very small portions. I ordered the pineapple margarita which I highly recommend trying! The matcha bar cake for dessert was also pretty good, with a mild matcha flavor!

So good we went back the next night! This is a small plates Japanese restaurant with a few entrée sized plates. Both times we brought our 2 year old daughter and they were very accommodating. Reservations are highly encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.

I have had about half the menu at this point and I would order everything again. This place does not miss.

When we entered I noticed the restaurant’s decor of a traditional/modern Japanese pub which is very beautiful. Our server was very positive explaining the menu and restaurant to my group which I appreciated. We all got 4 appetizers and 4 different Raman’s all tasty and amazing. The one I had the (Tokyo station) was great, I love pork and the broth made the noodle’s flavor extra good. I usually prefer dry Raman but this one was not a regret. Although the pice is definitely high I’d say if you’re able try this place you’ll love it.

Clean and beautiful decor ✨️ like walking into a wooden train dining hall. A fun place to dress up, imvite friend or date night
Buuut there was much to be desired from the meal. No hot tea is disastrous for a Japanese restaurant, our waiter was nice but our fried potatoes didn’t get to us fast enough, resulting in warm French fries which.. come on you know. ALSO, the fries came in a small plate resulting in a chaotic game of jenga. The shrimp on the tteokbokki was over cooked. Ramen was delicious but didnt come out to hot either… and my egg wasnt soft boiled… for a warm ramen. The pork belly was pale … um, looking forward to trying the fried chicken next time. That looked good walking by.

Over all …. stop charging an arm and a leg if we aren’t getting the experience you sell on paper.

Went here on a whim, ended up a whimper. Gave us a high chair that put the high in high chair, like whoa that’s too high for the table. We asked to be seated at a high top to match the high chair but they said it was a fire hazard. Hmm. The ramen’s egg was hot on the outside and had an icy center, just like improperly heated hot pocket. The happy hour pork fried rice was more expensive on the happy hour menu than the normal menu. Whoa, maybe the extra cost was from the mountain of mayonnaise they put on it

This is one of my new favorite restaurants in Lakeland. All the food and drinks are delicious and I would highly recommend the dumplings. It’s a great place to share food with friends. I’ve tried the both the lunch and dinner menus. The lunch menu is very good, but the dinner menu is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and make great suggestions.

I was invited to the soft opening and I can’t say enough good things about Hakucho! The food was incredibly delicious (while being fairly priced), the staff was friendly/attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing time out with loved ones. They encourage you to interact and share food with your partner/friends/family. It was a special experience with my husband and friends! A true gem has been added to Lakeland! 10000/10 *
