Since opening in 2022, Sesame Dinette has become known as the home of the Phở French Dip—our signature creation that brings together the deep, aromatic flavors of traditional phở soup with a classic French dip sandwich. I got the ROASTED PORK NOODLES (mì khô) and VEGAN SUMMER ROLL (tofu). Both very delicious. The side of house broth was perfect – not too salty, sweet nor strong.

My boyfriend and I have been to Sesame Dinette many times, and it’s truly one of our favorite spots. It’s a hidden gem—really cute inside with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The Pho French Dip is absolutely amazing, and the Brisket Pho is just as incredible. The broth is what really sets it apart—deeply flavorful, rich, and truly something special. You can tell a lot of care goes into it.
A big reason we keep coming back is Mike. He’s so kind, attentive, and genuinely great at building connections with customers. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the people make you feel so at home. Highly recommend!

Such a cute little Vietnamese spot! Got the blue crab imperial rolls (see pic) and the braised tofu vermicelli! Best tofu vermicelli I’ve ever had, sweet braised tofu, perfectly cooked noodles..it was perfect! The blue crab imperial rolls were crispy and complemented with fresh veggies! Their matcha oat milk latte was just the pick me up I needed and was delicious!!

Amazing!!! If you like Pho and just good Vietnamese food in general, Sesame Dinette is a must try, and a must take your friends. I tried the Pho French Dip Sando, spring rolls (even though vegan, still very tasteful) and the beef meatballs. Everything was on point. I will be going here again to try more of the menu.

Long Beach is becoming a food hub rivaling LA. It can go toe to toe with DTLA and its neighborhoods. Straight up. Sesame dinette is another punch . It hits. Delicious banh mi and meatballs..yes I said meatballs. Everything is sexy and succulent. On top of all that a vegan Vietnamese coffee topped with salted pandan. That’s crazy.

Granted that the spot is in a sketchy neighborhood, the spot is quaint and very clean. Seats may be limited though!
Pho French Sandwich (I think it should’ve just been called Phorench Sandwich ) was so good! The beef by itself was flavorful and the fixings in the sandwich went well with the flavors. The broth to dip it it made it sooo much better. It is their most popular sandwich, and they delivered! The bread was crisped to perfection. Must try!
Crunchy Pork Sandwich was very tasty too along with the Bun Noodle Salad! Will try again !
