We loved it here. This is truly a gem in the area. We came two nights in a row! Staff is super attentive.
Both nights we ended up with two of the Ribeye dinners. Delicious both nights, and the sides were delicious. Unfortunately, not the most consistent as the second night, the potatoes were so garlic filled that they were almost inedible. But the steak was incredible and we would absolutely go back for it, a steal for the price! The lemon garlic on the sides were perfect the first night.
The bread pudding was also delicious!
I would say, the drinks are what lack here. Not a great wine list, and unfortunately I had a fly in my Christmas champagne twice. But they got me a new drink both times, and opened a new tub of cranberries which I appreciated!
If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be back.

We had a great time, my husband and I went to the Vic for lunch. We spent a little bit over $100 with tip, our server was amazing, food was delicious, I had the goat cranberry salad with mahi and my husband had the steak enchilada with mashed potato. I appreciate the level of thoughtfulness that goes into their meals and their plating it’s always delicious and beautiful. Great music in the background, nice and quiet, many people outside eating as it was a sunny day.

A good place to unwind. I was there on a Sunday afternoon. Service was on point and our server was very attentive and checked on us severally. After we had drinks and just relaxed watching the sun set and the amazing view. Loved it and it’s now my go to for chill evening outs. Def recommend.

My husband and I were really looking forward to trying The Vic and enjoying a beautiful Saturday afternoon outside. We arrived around 4:00 pm to find the outdoor patio mostly empty, with only a few parties sitting at couches and tables.

When we went inside to be seated, the host told us the patio was “closed” because a reservation had taken over the entire outdoor area. We were offered seats at the bar or inside at a table. We chose the bar, but ended up leaving before even finishing our drinks because it was uncomfortably hot inside and the service was very poor.

To make matters worse, my husband ordered an Old Fashioned and was served a muddled Wisconsin-style Old Fashioned — not what you’d expect from an upscale bar unless specified. It also took about five minutes just to get someone’s attention to close out our tab.

What was most frustrating is that during the entire time we were there, other patrons were freely seating themselves outside and coming inside to order drinks at the bar. It made no sense why we weren’t allowed to sit outside for even one drink.

I understand closing a space for a private event, but there should be clear signage when walking up and transparency online. Since there’s no way to reserve an outdoor table for a party of two online, there’s also no way to know the patio will be completely unavailable for hours until you arrive.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, not sure we’ll be back.

This place is a gem! | was here visiting a friend that moved to Goodyear and golf’s here. The restaurant sits above the 18th hole on the hill. We will have to walk the steps next time we are in town. The atmosphere, sunset view and great company is what it’s all about. The food was decent Guacamole and hummus were great the food was ok. The halibut was on the dryer side and over cooked, my brisk was pretty good. The strawberry salad was fantastic with a lot of flavor. My wine kept getting fruit flies in it so just watch your drink or drink it fast. Service is a little relaxed as I feel coming from service industry they should tap the tables a little more when making rounds.

I love trying to find a new place or stop anytime I’m out and about and if it’s local even better. I love Verrado and have spent some time nearby exercising, getting coffee etc so today we decided to stop for a late lunch date at The Vic. What a great view overlooking the golf course as well as towards downtown Phoenix. Parking could be an issue I see when busy, but we had no problems today. Follow the signs to the restaurant. It’s easier to see where all the outdoor seating is then head towards the door to enter. This is definitely a local spot with people from the area and the employees seemed to know a lot of them. We decided to sit at the bar as outside was pretty full. Our bartender was amazing. She had a smile on her face the entire time and was so friendly. We had a few drinks. They had Scottsdale Blonde on tap and a few ciders which was great. We ordered the wings since it was happy hour as well as the pulled pork sandwich with fries, a turkey club with a Caesar salad. The food came out pretty quick. Wings had good flavor, but a bit dry. The pulled pork and club were awesome. Good bread, nothing got soggy and a great amount of meat and toppings. My fries were crisp and seasoned well. The salad fell short sadly. It lacked flavor and it looked like they used the worst part of iceberg lettuce, bummer. All in all we had a great time and can imagine how beautiful it is at night.

Unfortunately I’m going to have to lower my previous review to a 4 Star, due primarily to the subpar service we received from our waitress during our most recent visit. It’s not that she was rude, but she was very inattentive, leaving us under served for extended periods of time. Other than that, the we enjoyed the delicious food, impeccable environment, and courteousness of the other employees. My compliments to the manager Bonnie

There are no words. This place is fabulous. The food is delicious, the ambient inside and outside is amazing, and the views are spectacular. Dining on the patio, even when it’s chilly, is wonderful. There are ample space heaters around to keep you nice and toasty, and the twinkly lights in all the trees just adds a magical touch. My new favorite place!

Surprisingly, this restaurant’s quality matches the cost. While I would normally mention how undersized the portions are, the taste makes the experience fair.

The staff was also quite jovial, and genuinely happy to make sure our experience went well. The atmoshphere was also great, with it being situated towards the back of Verrado, this would make for a pleasant, relaxing spot. And while I’m sure the view of the sunset from the patio would skew any opinion, the food holds it own and has earned 5 stars from me.

The Vic in Verrado is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The food is exceptional—each dish is crafted with care, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The cocktails are top-notch too, with creative options that perfectly complement the cuisine. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about providing a great dining experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Buckeye, the Vic is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return!
