The only thing I truly enjoyed was my glass of wine. On a positive note, the customer service was good and the staff was attentive and kind. I just wish the food had matched the level of service. I really wanted this second visit to be better, but sadly it wasn’t.
Jamie was so helpful and patient while coordinating everything over the phone and through email. She made the planning process smooth and stress-free during such an emotional time for our family.
The day of, Jada and Joe were our servers, and they were simply amazing. They were kind-hearted, attentive, respectful, and genuinely compassionate. They wore a smile on their face the entire time and went the extra mile with any requests our party had. On a day that was heavy for us, they handled everything with such grace and care.
Their kindness truly stood out. This is how I wish all interactions were at restaurants, they set the bar high. We are so grateful for their professionalism and their hearts.
Thank you for helping us honor our family member in such a beautiful way.
I went to Barbarie’s Black Angus Grill for my birthday and ordered the Surf & Turf – 16oz Ribeye and Lobster Tail, but the ribeye literally had ZERO flavor. It was so tasteless I actually suspected that I may have been served a different cut of steak. Don’t be fooled by the photo. Looks can be deceiving.
I read the reviews before selecting this restaurant and had high expectations, but it was a complete let down. I considered sending the dinner back (something I have never done before), but I arrived at the restaurant at 9pm and the grill closed around 9:45pm so I decided against it.
I will say, the lobster tail was delicious and I enjoyed my seared scallops appetizer, but I find it unacceptable for the ribeye – the most expensive item on the menu – to be completely tasteless and felt compelled to write a review after my experience.
We were there because I really wanted a good steak that day. 90 dollars steak was horrible, crust turned into charcoal and extremely salty.
Linguine and Eggplant Parm with vodka sauce, Stuffed Lobster, sauteed Green beans, Mashed potatoes, Mac n Cheese, Crisp Onion and a few others were good.
Waiters got distracted (probably because busy New Year time) : had to wait about 10 minutes for to-go boxes, waited 15 minutes for banana pudding pudding I ordered to go, turned out that no one was prepping the order. So, I had to wait 5 more minutes since I already paid.
BTW, Next morning I tasted the pudding. It was the most worse bread pudding I’ve ever had.
I spent over 300 for 3 people plus tips but it was disappointing overall.
The service and ambiance of the restaurant are also great! Solid spot to take out family or for a date. Will be back!
