We’re from England and wanted ribs. We were not disappointed. Our waitress was lovely and talked us through our choices. The restaurant wasn’t too busy and it was easy to get a table. We love the refillable sodas, not something we get at home, at home you pay a lot of money and just get one glass. The ribs were amazing, lots of food, we could’ve shared. They do offer to box it for you. The biscuits were a pleasant added extra, moist and warm.

Kids meals say that all kids meals include a drink and side, but the mac and cheese kids meal doesn’t come with a side, which ended up in us spending more than expected. I did later see that under “Mac and Cheese” it says no side included, but was not mentioned by our server when we added a side, and the top of the menu should not say ALL kids meals included, when they are not.

Best BBQ we have had! We were on our way to vacation and found this great spot. We were looking for something local and boy did we hit the jackpot. From the moment we walked in everyone was super friendly, especially Bill our waiter! John, one of the owners even came over to talk with us and ask how we found the place. All of the food was outstanding, not just the barbecue but everything! A great experience all the way around!

Lunch at Jim ‘N Nick’s was a toss-up. I love the Peach Tea with chunks of peaches. The cheddar biscuits were deliciously soft and cheesy. The classic pulled pork was seasoned and tender, while the catfish needed a few more minutes in the fryer. The collard greens were heavily salted. Baked beans added a nice taste to the pulled pork.

From the moment we walked in I knew it was gonna be good. The smell was fantastic. Their menu proudly said there’s no freezers or microwaves and I believe it. You have GOT to try the spare ribs or the pulled pork when you go. I loved the loaded nachos too!!!! The seasoning and sauce on the spareribs was unbeatable. And The brisket was extra tender, but you may want to add salt from the shaker depending on how you like your meats seasoned. Also I recommend getting their sandwiches!!! They come with martins potato buns and they toasted ours.

My Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage was good, but my pulled pork left a little to be desired. My wife enjoyed her brisket mac and cheese. The cheddar biscuits were delicious. The service was great.

Pulled pork and chicken are solid choices and full of smokey flavor. The coleslaw was different but good. It’s a mix between a creamy and vinegar base.
