Our experience started at the hostess stand, which it always does. The hostess always sets the time for the experience. Josie, clearly knew ADA law when I identified myself as an ADA dog user and ask for a booth or half booth. She was an absolute doll and seem happy to accommodate us. Our server, Ryan, was so on point with drinks and sushi. We had never been here before, but this place will now go on repeat. I had the dragon roll with a hot sake and hubby had the Philadelphia. Both were perfect. Thank you for accommodating us, for having some baseline understanding of ADA law, and giving us a beautiful experience. We had just left the Amazon tour where we were denied service and I had spent my afternoon filling out a grievance with the Colorado civil rights department. Discrimination. It’s real and we did not feel any of it here. What a beautiful afternoon and way to turn it around.

I’ve been to hapa many times, often times it becomes a comfort and place where i can expect great food and service. today especially blew me out of the water. i had some work to do on my laptop, so i opted to sit at the sushi bar which i usually never do. the sushi chef, Min Min made me feel comfortable right away and made great conversation. when i told them about my new job and birthday just passing, the sushi bar manager Erik made my next order very special by putting these gold flakes on my tuna (see photo). i felt like such a VIP and they made an ordinary monday extraordinary. i will come back to do more laptop work in the future and always sit at the sushi bar! thanks to Min Min, Erik, and the female manager who also checked in on me. Hapa is the best.

More Than Sushi: An Unforgettable Post-Delivery Feast at Hapa!

Our first visit to Hapa Sushi, since moving to town, was truly unforgettable, marking a major family milestone. We stopped in to pick up a to-go order right after my daughter delivered her first baby. She had been craving sushi all year, and Hapa—her favorite Denver spot—was the place we chose for her celebratory, post-pregnancy meal.

We sat at the bar in the lounge while waiting, and the entire experience was made extra special by Natalie and Elise, who were working that night. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly kind, making sure we had hot sake, a celebratory drink, and an order of delicious shumai while we waited. Their service made a simple wait feel like a celebratory moment, showing genuine interest in our exciting news. This team clearly loves their work environment, and that positive energy shines through.

When we returned home, the presentation of the order brought my daughter to tears. What we opened was a true gourmet feast: a beautiful platter featuring five styles of nigiri, assorted rolls, tuna, and salmon, all arranged meticulously. The edible flowers added a beautiful pop of color, elevating the takeout into a work of art.

Hapa’s philosophy shines through—they take traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals and amplify, mute, or mix them with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new and fresh.

Located just off Belleview Avenue in the Landmark Retail Center, the restaurant is perfectly situated steps away from shops, Comedy Works, and the Landmark Theatre, making it a great spot for family or group fun. As we are new to the area, we are so excited to have found this gem and look forward to returning soon for a dine-in experience!

Came in on Boxing Day and didn’t expect to see this restaurant so busy. I guess that is a good sign that shows this restaurant is very popular and serves excellent food. Chef Min Min & Chef Benny didn’t disappoint. They asked me what kind of fish I love to eat and recommended me and my family the dishes on the menu. They even did a special creation and added a special touch to the dishes that I ordered. Skyler and Keanna also took great care of us and ensured that my green tea is always hot to my liking. I felt so bad that they always had to keep refilling that small cup and told them to leave the pot with me but they said the refilling is to ensure that I will always have fresh hot green tea to drink. Wow! The service and food here is top notch and all four of these star employees really blew me away. My family also love the cute dessert plate of fruits that was served. Whoever prepared that in the kitchen is really creative and skillful and deserves the recognition too. Thank you for making my children’s day. It was a belated Christmas treat for them and my kids couldn’t stop talking about how cute and delicious the dessert and food was.

My amazing happy hour late lunch started when I walked in and saw my favorite flower (dendrobium orchid). We chatted with the hostess, Suzie, and a few minutes later she came over with a bouquet for me. I was so touched at her kindness. Life has been a bit challenging lately and she totally made my day so special. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for having such lovely employees!!
In addition the food was delicious as always as was our server Wendy. The magic mushrooms are delicious as well as Colorado himachi and everything else. Thanks for being so special Suzie, Wendy and to all the staff!!

First time there and it was the best experience. Skylar and Min Min had exceptional customer service, but the cherry on top was Tia. I’m glad we migrated from Cherry Creek shopping to eat at the DTC location because of this experience. Definitely plan to come back!

Chef Min Mins exquisite attention to detail in sushi preparation is divine! Each dish is unique, fresh and melts in your mouth. Skyler is so attentive to diners assuring that service is going well and glasses are kept full. The exclamation point was the fried ice cream dessert. Can I give them 10 stars?

Hands down best sushi place I’ve had in Denver. The Kobe beef carpaccio was my favorite dish I had to order it twice. The multiple orgasm roll was incredible. Sat at the sushi bar and the people behind the bar were awesome and kept us entertained with jokes and made sure we had everything we needed. The fried ice cream was so good too. Honestly can’t wait to come back !!

Hapa gets 5 stars!! What a hidden gem in Greenwood Village. We are relatively near to the south metro area and were looking for a good sushi place and we stumbled upon Hapa Sushi this past weekend. We had sushi chefs Paul and MinMin. They were AWESOME! Even though it was clear they were super busy, they were very friendly and made great recommendations. The fish was very fresh and every dish we got was plated beautifully! If I was a food blogger, I would have been posting pics of their instagram worthy dishes! LOL. The atmosphere had a good vibe and we definitely will be going back! Ever since our meal, we’ve been asking ourselves why it took us so long to find this place! Highly recommend Hapa! It will not disappoint!
