Sometimes it’s not needed to spend too many words about a place.
What I can say in short is that the very good reviews about them are more than true and they correspond to the reality of what is offered by the restaurant.
The quality of food and the presentation are both at a very high level.
The nicest thing about Sixta is that they propose typical Austrian food, but with a touch of modernity and attention to the details.
Totally recommended place.

Valentines evening meal for myself and my fiancé. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional as was the wine selection we chose for our evening. The host of the restaurant was charming and friendly and the waiters were as to be expected from what we discovered was an incredibly high end fine dining restaurant. 5 stars all round and we will most certainly return here when we next visit Vienna.

From the minute you enter you’re greeted with warmth and lovely staff and taken toward your table. This restaurant is incredibly popular so I’d recommend booking or at least arriving when it opens.
The menu has a wide variety of items available including some Austrian classics, with lots of both alcohol and non-alcoholic drink options.
Despite being immensely popular, the level of service remains high and the atmosphere both wondrous and enthralling.
I would love to visit this establishment again as I had such as great time on the first occasion. This would also be my recommendation for anyone wanting a taste of Austria within the best environment!

Sixta didn’t feel like going out to a restaurant, it truly felt like visiting friends at their home.
From the very first moment, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that we instantly felt like part of the family.
There was laughter, care in every detail, and a true sense that they wanted us to enjoy not just the food, but the whole experience. The hospitality was deeply sincere, the atmosphere was comforting and joyful, and the food was made with real love.

The food was amazing and the service was fantastic and very attentive. Everything was delicious, but the gnocchi in particular was a standout and the truffle mashed potatoes served with the duck was delectable. We were even offered a free hazelnut schnapps with a merry christmas just before we left! Overall, a cozy and warm restaurant with excellent food and service!!

Bit on the expensive side but the food was so good so I can see why. Had the duck, gnocchi and shnitzel. The shnitzel was good , light and crispy, as about the same as you can get anywhere else in Vienna. The gnocchi was amazing, highly recommend. It was perfectly chewy and soft. The duck was also very soft and tender and the mash was amazingly smooth. Service was perfect as well. We were kindly gifted with some hazelnut schnaps on our way out from the bartender.

We found this restaurant on Google and booked it for our Christmas Eve dinner. What a wonderful surprise! The experience went far beyond our expectations. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food was simply delicious—the Schnitzel was a special highlight, it was incredible and perfectly prepared. However, the standout feature was the service: the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. For anyone in Vienna looking for an authentic meal away from the typical tourist traps, I highly recommend it!

I had high hopes for this restaurant. I was not disappointed! Excellent roast beef! And the chocolate cake (but also the chestnut cream cake) was superb! So fresh and light desserts. Bravo!
