Social Profile:

Pub Dog Pizza & Drafthouse opened in 2001 on Cross St. in the historic neighborhood of Federal Hill in Baltimore. It immediately became a hit with neighborhood residents, suburbanites, and tourists alike. Pub Dog quickly became famous as Baltimore’s original gourmet pizza place. For more than a decade, Pub Dog in Federal Hill has served the city with our personal-sized thin-crust pizzas, fresh salads, and “Dog Deal” beers – 2 mugs of our own house craft beer for one low price all the time. Pub Dog expanded outside of the city in 2007, opening a location in Columbia and has been serving up our gourmet pizzas and pairs of our hand-crafted house draft beers ever since.

Easygoing operation specializing in personal gourmet pizzas & house-brewed ales.

First time here, the atmosphere is laid back, and the staff is attentive. 5 different staff members checked in and gave great service! The pretzel appetizer was good. The pizza, lots to select from and something for everyone! Reasonably priced and delicious! I would not recommend it for family dining with small children but it is a great place for families with teens and sports fans! The only negative is, it is loud but it is a Pub so I cannot ding it for that!

Five stars for Pub Dog! The staff is always welcoming and attentive, which makes a huge difference. Great atmosphere for drinks with friends, and the food is consistently amazing. Can’t recommend it enough!

Pub Dog is a great spot for hanging out, pizza, and beer. There is a large bar area and then booths behind the bar. During the warmer months, there is space outside on the patio. The pizza is OK – wish there was more variety when it comes to “making your own”. Would love to be able to add whatever toppings to a cheese pizza versus ordering one that is standard. The service from our waitress was not the best, we waited a long time to get the check and pay. She didn’t come check in once we had the food and actually never came back. We had to ask someone else for the check. Maybe she had left for the day. The atmosphere isn’t bad – it can get crowded and loud, plus it’s dark on the inside. The beers are good and we enjoy the blueberry dog beers. My kids enjoy the pizza as well. Prices are affordable.

A legendary brewery that makes approachable beers for all audiences. They’re a found memory of nights out in Federal Hill and times spent between another local taco joint beer jawn and this spot. Pizza is personalized always a delight but there is something more important to talk about heritage.

Honoring the original 2 pour pony design this is a lovely spot worth every minute of your time.

Great place to get some pizza and enjoy some pub atmosphere. Imagine it can get extremely crowded here on big sports days, but still recommend it for the chill vibes and fairly priced food. Indoor and patio seating options, but some of the tables are pretty limited on seats/space.

Neat atmosphere, unique environment and concepts with the pizzas and double mug serving with some drinks. Service staff was friendly, but slightly off – had to ask to have our empties cleared when we literally could not fit our food on the table with about 12-15 empty mugs littering the table. I probably would have ordered more drinks if staff had checked a bit more often and stayed long enough to check with folks in the group (we were about eight) rather than just the individual that flagged our server’s attention. I’d be fine to go back again and try a different pizza, but don’t know that I’d seek out a return visit proactively.

Ok this is the picture of a solid bar and hangout place. The beer is all pretty good, a step above regular stuff and a step below more expensive craft offerings. The pizzas are really solid and well portioned. It’s a bit loud there but the booth we were in still felt quiet enough for conversation.

The “two beers for one” deal is really just two 8oz beer pours so it’s just 16oz but the price is still really good for both drinks and food.

Honestly this is one of those places perfectly good for going for a fun time with friends where you can watch a game, chat, have a few drinks, and enjoy a decent meal.

Amazing pizza with lots of options and good draft beers/cider. I accidentally forgot my leftovers and when I came back they had been thrown away. But they made me a whole new pizza . Exceptional service, thank you so much
