Sat down for a meal at 11:15 am and patiently waited for 15 minutes on a server. Three different members of staff walked by and the manager answered the phone for take out twice without even noticing I was there within those 15 minutes. There was only one group of three eating at one table. Use to love this place and the food was always great, but service is awful now. I will return at least one more time, but please do better

The food is great. Absolutely love this place. Only issue I have found is the girl that works the phones with orders and runs the register, has a really bad attitude. Really rude and short with customers and could work on her people skills. Other than that, great restaurant!

The young lady that is working the cash register needs Customer Service training. I asked for my receipt and she said “What”? I know she knew exactly what I was saying because she rolled her eyes and made a face of frustration , starting typing on the register and said…..here!!! I replied “honey not everyday is going to be a bed of roses but, we have to make the best of it. Don’t make your customers uncomfortable.

The food has always been good for me. I will also add the sushi is good. The girl behind the counter is very rude and I completely agree with the reviews regarding her. I do call in and pick up.(it is a struggle with her rudeness to cancel the order)

Great experience. Daughter had Sushi appetizer followed by chicken and veg bowl and said both were great. I had steak and shrimp which was delicious. Will certainly eat there next time I am in kingstree.

None of these bad reviews has ever been my experience with this place. I was in town 3wks ago for my mom’s death and ordered my usual shrimp fried rice with pepper wings. Don’t remember what my husband and son ordered but we all were extremely happy with our order and the taste of our food. I live in NC now but this is where I always eat when getting to Kingstree. I had no complaints before leaving Kingstree 10 yrs ago, family that still lives there has never had any complaints and we still don’t. I can’t speak for anyone else experience but I can honestly say I was shocked at the bad reviews, simply because it’s not been my experience ever.

The food was absolutely AWFUL. Steak tasted like ground sausage. Crab Rangoon was cold and over cooked/ chewy. Paid extra for sauce and Wasabi and received NONE. Almost $100 of inedible food. Definitely will not be back.

I wouldn’t even give this a one star, in honesty it deserves 0 stars. Today, I went to purchase what i normally buy: Steak and shrimp plate. Now any person that buys a product often know the price of that certain product. Which in my case the plate total cost is $14.85. When I went inside the restaurant to place my order, the young lady try to overcharge me. She first told me my price was 16 dollars and some change. So I told her hold on a minute, just the other day my food had cost $14.85. She then went to change something on the screen and magically the price change to $14.85. I then waited for my food because it had to get fix.I don’t mind waiting on food that is good quality and hot. But boy was my expectations wrong. The young lady then called me to the counter to tell me that my order was ready. I then proceeded to check my plate to make sure they fix it right. I opened up my plate and I see 6 shrimp and little bit of meat but a lot of rice. I then asked the young lady can they add more meat to plate or fix it over.it nearly no meat on the plate and they ain’t gonna play with my food like that. She then went to calling on her daddy(the owner of the restaurant). I tried to spoke with him in a calmly manner but he was very rude. Then when he was rudely trying to explain to me that I suppose to get 7 shrimp and 4 slices of steak he started pointing directly on my food. Now as a professional business person you don’t directly touch the food that has to go in the customers mouth! I then told him I ain’t came to argue with you, just hand me my money. And that’s exactly what he did.He then begin to say we always been serving that much for a portion size and started talking about me in Japanese. I don’t know what that man been saying, but that is very unprofessional and the quickest way for me to call corporate on him. With everything being said, I refuse to pay nearly $15 dollars for a little bit of meat.They consistently raising they prices and blaming it on Covid. I would gladly spend my money elsewhere. If your reading this comment don’t waste a bit of time eating there.They unsanitary and the portion sizes for their meals aren’t worth the price. They also have roach problems and the wife always scratching her butt and starting cooking afterwards.
