Melting Pot is by far our favorite dining experience! The unique concept of cooking your own food makes it truly special and unlike any other restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also a fun way to engage with our meal. The service was prompt and professional, ensuring we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was amazing—classy and inviting. We will definitely be back for another memorable evening!

Where to start!
Service was excellent.
Food was excellent.
Accommodation was excellent.
We were seated in a small private room. Our server, Teresa was informative and patient. She answered all our questions, and there were many since this was our first time at the Melting Pot. First course we chose the quatro frommagio cheese with different dippers. Second was salad. I had the California with a raspberry dressing and candied pecans, husband had the mixed greens. Next was the entrees. Husband had the steak trio, I chose from the create your own, chicken, salmon and filet steak. We were stuffed! Then we were served our final course … Chocolate! We chose the Truffle chocolate with hazel nuts. This was served with a variety of dippers, brownies, cake and fruit. Teresa thoughtfully brought a box for our take away. This was a wonderful dining experience. Allow 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I am saying it took us that long because we savored the food and the experience to the max!

What an exceptional dining experience. This was my and my husband’s first ever visit, and our server Alton was a delight. He fully explained how the experience would work with each course, suggested best sauce pairings, and was very attentive to our needs. The food was wonderful, and the treatment from the entire staff was five-star worthy. Thank you for helping to make our first wedding anniversary such a dream.

We were sat in a quiet low lit romantic section. Idk if that was on purpose, as we were celebrating our 2 year anniversary, or if the whole restaurant is like that. Either way, it was a lovely atmosphere. Our server was so nice and very helpful helping us navigate the experience as it was our first time. He even gave us suggestions for sauces. He also brought us a special plate that wished us a happy anniversary which shows the extra step he was willing to take to give us a pleasant experience. The food was absolutely delicious and it was a fun time dipping things in cheese and cooking them in broth. I made my husband promise me that we will make the 3 hour car ride next year for our 3 year anniversary and we would do the dessert fondue. Loved my experience!

A truly amazing experience. Firstly, the staff welcomed you as soon as you walked in the door. It is amazingly clean inside. When you sit down, the staff immediately comes to help you. They show you through the melting pot process and how it will be done. The fruits and vegetables are very high quality. The meats were excellent. (I had duck, tuna and shrimp.) The dipping sauces were very smooth and pleasing to the taste buds. The cheese sauce and chocolate sauce are my personal favorites. The oils were high quality too. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. It gave off a fancy restaurant vibe, even though meats and other sides were regular. The bathroom was very clean. The pricing was a bit high, but it was a birthday splurge. I thought nothing of it. Happy birthday dad! Overall, it was a thoroughly pleasing experience.

I have been to The Melting Pot twice. I ordered a four-course meal for two people, which was about $125. The first part of the meal is a cheese fondue. They give you pretzel bread and some fruit and vegetables to dip in the cheese. You get to select your cheese. Last time we went with a Wisconsin Cheddar. This time around we tried the Classic Alpine. It was okay, it was a white wine cheese sauce. But we definitely prefer the Wisconsin Cheddar. Other cheese options are: Spinach Artichoke, Fiesta, Quattro Formaggio, and Loaded Baked Potato Cheddar. All of the cheese options are gluten free. For the second round they give you salads. I went with the Caesar and they had these parmesan-dusted pine nuts on top of it. That was slightly unusual, but I kind of liked it. The other salads on the menu are: Melting Pot House Salad, California, and Bacon & Bleu Spinach. For the third round you choose your oils to dip your meat in. We chose the Mojo and it was fantastic!!! It has some citrusy Caribbean flavors with hints of garlic and cilantro. For people who don’t like cilantro, I really didn’t taste that in the oil. Other oils include: Coq Au Vin, Court Bouillon, Traditional Oil, and Grill. Choices of meet include: The Classic, Steak Lovers, Pacific Rim, and the Land & Sea. I got the Pacific Rim and it was a phenomenal! It was the perfect mix between the Mojo oil and the meat that comes with the Pacific Rim. I would highly recommend it. My favorite was the duck meat. They do have a vegetarian option called the Garden Pot. I don’t know much about it and the menu does say to ask the chef for a selection of vegetarian options. The fourth round is the chocolate fondue. Chocolate options are: The Original, Flaming Turtle, Yin & Yang, S’mores, Truffle Milk Chocolate, and Pure Chocolate Fondue. We had the S’mores, and once again it blew our minds! To dip in the chocolate fondue they give you an assortment of cookies, brownies and rice krispie treats. Our favorite was the chocolate dusted marshmallows. We definitely had an amazing time and will be going back.

We try to hit this place every time we visit KC. It is in a great location and the atmosphere is wonderful. The service is paced well and you are never rushed. The staff is friendly and their recommendations are spot on! I think their “Best of Melting Pot 4-Course” is definitely the way to go. If you walk out of here hungry or dissatisfied, that is really a “you” problem. There are so many options and that’s what keeps me coming back.

Went last night with a few friends and had a great time! The food was delicious and our server Teresa was fantastic. Our entire table commented on how great she was. She paid extra attention to detail and told us things about what to do or how to cook things that we had never been told before and we’ve visited a few times. Thank you Teresa for a great night and great experience!
