ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! EVERYTHING! all the food was cold and mushy, blueberries were expired (tasted like beer) cups were DISGUSTING (not washed at all), our waitress was very slow didn’t even get our drinks until we ordered food, there was another waitress on her phone the entire time we were there and also laying across the front counter on her phone, this same waitress was rinsing off cups in the soda dispenser, the entire cup, not saying it was dirty but why would you need to do that. (manager tried to say that this is okay and not an issue) “those dishes are old”, ANOTHER waitress argued with me and said that i shouldn’t be worried about another waitress but the mine, also acted like everything that we said was okay and not and issue. DO NOT EAT HERE!! TERRIBLE!!!

1/17/26 My husband and I enjoyed our visit to IHOP Gateway. Excellent service and delicious meal. Victor was our waiter and he served us excellently with speed, friendliness, and pleasant conversation. The food was delicious!

One star is generous for this location. My husband and I hadn’t come into this location in like 6 months,I don’t know what has happened to it since then because from start to finish it was disappointing. There is a difference between understanding the kitchen is busy which we were vs being neglectful. We came in at 11:10am we got seated pretty quickly with how busy it was, they gave us our drinks then 30 minutes passes and finally Estefany came and took our orders we ordered 2 appetizers and our main meals. It took an HOUR to receive our appetizers which were the crispy shrimp, and the appetizer sampler. Mind you in that whole Hour no one came to check on us or see if we needed more refills. When we received our poor excuse of food it was just disappointing to wait that long for the quality of food we received. The crispy shrimp and mozzarella didnt bring any sauce for them. Mozzarella sticks as we bit them had no cheese in it at all it was hollow, biscuit was burnt, etc. Our main meals looked depressing. Overall it was a super disappointing experience. We will not be coming to this location ever again I wanted to write this review in hopes there can be some change from the whole staff from the waitress to the cooks in the back.

i’ve gone here off and on for years, it is generally close to empty everytime except when Helene was here and then it was packed with a 2 hour wait and cash only, apparently. food is fine, nothing special. service used to be exceptional but has fallen off in the past couple of years to just passable. pancakes are pretty good but i think they are probably good everywhere. the sign is poorly lit at night so you can totally drive by and assume it’s closed, but i have no idea how this place stays open unless it’s busier than when i go or the hotel crowd is on a totally different schedule than i am lol

NOW, Im about to switch up a little . BEFORE I told yall we had a wonderful experience…and our host was MYA…WONDERFUL…..TODAY..Another HOST…the food was good as before, BUTTTTT as some of you said the CUSTOMER SERVICE was slow, inattentive, brought our food in parts with attitude, and took forever to bring check. After waiting we walked to the front, and learned only the server can ring us up. Finally she came as if shes doing us a favor….and get this NO CHANGE…unbelievable. The manager came and settled it.

My family hadn’t been to this location in a couple years. We were pleasantly surprised. Service was outstanding, food was delicious and hot. The restaurant was clean. Seems they must be under new management. We will be back more often.

I usually never write reviews, but here it goes.
Don’t order from here. They clearly don’t care about your order. The management seems complacent—so used to poor service that they just go through the motions. They even act clueless about how bad things really are. To top it off, a carry-out order placed three hours ago was never even made—on a slow night with barely any customers.
On top of that, the staff couldn’t even cancel orders without calling their manager. Fine, no problem. But they made it seem like the manager was just outside, only for me to find out she was actually coming all the way from Pooler near the airport.
I get it if you’re slow but from what I witness and seeing other customers coming in the door the staff acted as if they were just ghosts.

This particularly IHOP restaurant served tasty food, but it was so cold in there. The food was luke warm to cold so eat it quickly. Service was just ok, it could have been better. Prices are decent. The atmosphere was ok. My overall impression is it could have been better for such a well known brand. A focus group that can provide feedback to improve weakness in a overall operation.

Food was adequate. Service was good at the start and we got our order taken quickly and received our food promptly but then never saw the waitress again until she gave us our check. I left a $5 tip on a $30 bill (which is 18%) and my wife and I left. The next morning I found out that my card was charged an extra $5! I can only assume that the waitress added more money on for her tip! Completely unacceptable! In my opinion, I tipped more than she deserved but to add more on is outrageous! Emails are going to corporate offices and my wife and I will NEVER go back to this restaurant.

I have been to a few different IHOPS. I have to say they made the best bacon temptation omelet. But….
They appeared to be short staffed and i get that. It took more than 10 minutes for our beverages to arrive as a matter of fact a table arrived after us got their drinks before we did. You couldn’t understand the manager or the waitress when they talked. I asked for my fruit side that came with my omelet and she said she would look and didn’t come back and when I asked her again, she said they didn’t have any, she did discount my meal. My friend had to send her eggs back because they were under cooked. This was my friend’s 1st time at a IHOP.. She probably won’t be going back and it’s gonna be a while for me
