Reviews
The only minor downside was that the food could have been a little hotter, but considering how busy the kitchen likely was on Valentine’s Day, that’s understandable. Overall, it was a great night, and we truly enjoyed ourselves.
There was a small mix-up with our sides, but it was corrected right away. I ended up trying the broccoli and honestly enjoyed it much more than the asparagus, and they were kind enough to let me switch.
Our server was attentive, helpful, and very accommodating throughout the evening. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back!
– Bang Bang shrimp & chicken: We thought it was going to come out coated in some delicious sweet chili glaze, but it’s this disgusting mayonnaise-ey aioloi sauce that they drench all over the food. No bang. Tip for the chef – less is more.
– Au gratin potatoes: When this came out, we didn’t even know what it was. The top was completely burned and crunchy, and then there was this gross liquid cheese or something with cubed potatoes? Au gratin potatoes are delicately cooked potatoes with real cheese and delicious sauce. I don’t know who created this recipe, but it tastes terrible & is not au gratin potatoes in any way, shape, or form.
– Martinis: Unless you get one with zero sugar, they are just sickeningly sweet with hardly any alcohol.
– Parmesan-crusted Trout: Fishy – just yuck.
I so wanted to like this place, but it’s just not worth the money. They need a chef who really knows how to cook and put sauces and food together properly – especially au gratin potatoes! Sorry that I do not recommend and will not be back.
