Best Mexican restaurant in Tampa!
Upon walking in the new location I was greeted by the wonderful Julieta she explained the lunch specials & went out of her way to make sure I understood the menu.
She brought me the best tasting chips & salsa. They should really bottle the salsa its the best salsa around town!
I ordered a steak, chorizo & cheese burrito with rice & beans on the side.
The burrito was packed full of flavor as a style burrito should be
Same great food & service just bigger & better location!
Keep up the great work guys!

Had to eat there twice to make sure it was good as the first time and it was.

This place has to be one of the best, if not the best, Mexican restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. After living in Houston for over 15 years, good Mexican food is hard to find in many other cities. This place is legit! Homemade salsa. Enchilada sauce made with authenticity. Fresh ingredients. Margaritas to celebrate with. Family like service. All things you want in your favorite Mexican restaurant! Go try it!

I really wanted to like this place. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was good, but the food just didn’t deliver. We started with chips and salsa, but the chips tasted like stale grease. We ordered the birria tacos and they were honestly pretty ‘meh’—they were just greasy rather than having actual flavor or seasoning. When the main dish and the starter both fall flat, it’s hard to overlook. Everything else was just okay, but not enough to bring me back.

First time to the new location and definitely did not disappoint! The chips and salsa are amazing and both our meals were delicious. Julieta served us and she is super sweet. Best Mexican restaurant in Tampa hands down.

I love this place. Come here once a week. Margarita pitchers are amazing, they come out with the mug half full already. Tajin rim for me! Steak tacos are amazing!!!Family owned!!! Great people.

Great food and service!! They have cheap drinks and the margaritas are amazing. The food isn’t very authentic tasting, but still pretty good. Overall, had a great time here on a Tuesday night for dinner. It was a little more pricey than I expected, but still not too bad.

If you’re in the mood for authentic, mouth-watering Mexican cuisine, look no further than La Hacienda! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, in their new location.
The place is rarely busy, which surprises me because the food is absolutely top-notch. The house-made margaritas and queso are a game-changer, and the salsa offers just the right balance of heat and freshness.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food arrives at your table in record time without ever sacrificing quality. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every bite.
If you’re craving exceptional Mexican food in a relaxed, welcoming setting, don’t miss this hidden gem.

We have been eating a this restaurant since 2016. Never before have I had the fajitas here, but I do often eat fajitas. What was served to us today I can only describe as meat crumbs. It was like eating the broken crumbs from the bottom of a bag of chips. Because the bits of meat were so very small, it was all charred like the Cody’s roadhouse that just burned to the ground. The crumbles of meat were crunchy like cracklins’ not like eating a steak fajita. What made the matter worse is when I asked if this was how the typically served their steak fajitas ($20) the woman elevated her voice and snarked at me that this is how they have been made for 15 years. Truly I was only asking to determine if I was given a bad plate or if this is just not their best dish. Since Im spending my hard earned money, and customers spending money is what keeps them in business I do expect that staff can be reasonable. I wasn’t asking for a new plate, I wasn’t asking for the meal to be taken off the check. Just asking for my knowing. This is a restaurant. Things aren’t always going to go to plan. If the staff cannot handle a simple question asked in a casual tone of voice they should not be front of house. It’s a shame that we will take our business elsewhere as a result of poor service and an entitled attitude. I do not have to spend my $$ in that establishment and there are many good Mexican restaurants in our area.
My son enjoyed his burritos and said they tasted good. $12.50 for 2 isn’t a bad price.
$3.75 for a beverage thar was never refilled is ridiculous.
In this day and age where businesses are raising prices and reducing what you get for your money, my response will be to carefully curate where I spend, as well as the likely hood of second changes being small.

Went for the first time, ordered a #14, and would give the place 5 stars, except…
I asked if they had any really hot hot sauce. Not salsa, hot sauce, like in a bottle is what I meant. The waitress brought out a little bowl of very liquid green hot sauce, which was spicy and yummy. I only needed a few spoonfulls for my whole meal. Like, 1/5 of what they brought me.
However, when I got the bill there was a $3.25 charge for salsa verde on it. That’s about $4.13 (with tax and tip) for some sauce? I told the waitress that they should let customers know there will be a charge instead of just bringing it out and putting it on the bill. She removed the charge, thankfully.
Ask if there’s a charge first or at least check your bill if you ask for anything extra. And all that being said, I can’t believe a Mexican Restaurant can’t just give you a bottle of hot sauce to use??????????
