Ordered the shrimp pho & shrimp summer rolls and they were both quite delicious! Food took less than 10 minutes to come out. Only minus was that it was pricier than I thought it would be for a bowl of pho, but recommend trying it! Cute restaurant

I ordered take out pho, I ordered the round ey steak. The broth was good but lacked depth of flavor. I was originally nervous that they had sent the veggie broth instead of the pho broth. Otherwise, the soup was pretty good! Service was fantastic, they were fast and kind. I would give it another try some time!

Had the Chicken stay skewer, Hanoi style vermicelli with grilled pork, and Tofu noodle with shrimp paste.
Really enjoyed the skewer and vermicelli, tasted pretty fresh, light. The skewer came with a peanut type sauce and some vinegary cucumber. Was nice and light. The fish sauce for the vermicelli has some chili pepper to it, and the side salad had some cilantro and basil.
Complimentary water had lime in it.
Thought the tofu noodles were noodles made of tofu, but it was just noodles with a side of fried tofu triangles. The shrimp paste was too strong for me. Heard it’s an acquired taste.
Pho with meatballs and eye round came out super quick. Was great.
Vermecelli with chicken and spring roll was great. Ample fish sauce, comes with carrot, lettuce. Crushed peanuts, and fried onion bits. Crispy spring roll.

Clean single room bathrooms, one for male and a separate room for females.
Server was quite attentive. Food comes out very quickly.
Only gripe is the cold comes in quickly when the door is opened.

Tried out this Anise Viet Cuisine location for an early Friday dinner. We were immediately seated in the large dining area, which had other diners already eating. The menu was large and varied, with way more grilled items than I typically see which was a nice addition. Service throughout was quick, and the actual pho and summer rolls we received were delicious. Good service, tasty pho, and fair prices – had a great time!

Excellent service, delicious food, excellent presentation, reasonable prices. We’ve been at Anise a half dozen times. Pictures show Vietnamese carpaccio ceviche and steamed ginger fish.
Edited to add that on 10/4/2024, the beef carpaccio ceviche was served with lemons, not limes, which changed the taste and not for the better. We were told that limes are now too expensive. Not sure we will be making the drive any more.

Yep, y’all earned four full rounds of stars from me!! Phó is my fave food ever, and your’s is HEAVEN!!! LOVED IT!! tried a few other dishes, the pad thai and chicken stir fry, and let’s not leave out the summer rolls, w the bomb peanut sauce!! Everything was fresh, delicious, and served up fast! Servers are attentive, and personable!! Enjoyed my past 3 visits, and will be a loyal custy, for sure!! Love, from Philly Girl

It was amazing!! The food was really flavorful and affordable. The portion sizes were more than enough . I had the pork vermicelli, and it was really good. My husband got the chicken pho with grill chicken, and it was spectacular. We will definitely recommend it and will go back soon.

We live in NYC and are world traveled and have eaten alot of food of all kinds. My husband is Asian. This restaurant is authentic.
They were accommodating to our allergies! Service was great! It was really clean and had nice decor.
I was impressed with the bathrooms. Most restaurants only have one bathroom but this restaurant had a bathroom for the men and a separate one for the women.
They had handicapped bathrooms and the bathrooms were very spacious and clean!

I forgot to take a pic when I got my food! I’ll have to go back and take a better one. It was good, it was vermicelli with tofu-they have VEGAN options, even use vegetable stock! They had great customer service, said hello as soon as we walked in, kept our drinks full and our waitress was great going over the vegan options with me.
