Mazzi Hoi An was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The moment we stepped in, we were impressed by the cozy and welcoming ambiance, which set the tone for a memorable meal. The food was exceptional — every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and clearly made with care. The paneer dishes were rich and perfectly spiced, the chicken tikka was tender and flavorful, and the naan was soft, fresh, and ideal for scooping up every bit of curry. The soups were comforting and aromatic, making every bite a treat.
Desserts at Mazzi were equally impressive — the gulab jamun was soft, sweet, and indulgent, rounding off the meal perfectly. What really stood out, besides the fantastic food, was the attentive and friendly service. The staff made us feel welcome and ensured that everything went smoothly, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

Whether you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine while traveling or simply looking for a place with high-quality dishes and excellent service, Mazzi Hoi An is a must-visit. The combination of delicious food, warm service, and inviting atmosphere makes it one of the best dining experiences in Hoi An. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Very honest how getting so good reviews. We have been served frozen Tandoori I assume almost a week it’s been frozen. Just using GEE to avoid smelling. Tomato ketchup with Frozen chicken only fresh Is basmati rice i hope owners look into food quality and let’ the world try how wonderful Indian spices and foods.

I went here for Lunch. They have their branch in Old quarter, Hanoi as well, when I was in Hanoi I went there and it was delicious so decided to go here as well. I was not disappointed, the food was really very tasty. The staff was very attentive. Small cozy Restuarant, they have AC seating on the first floor and non AC on ground floor. The place had really very great vibe, highly recommend this place!

MAAZI Hoi An is a great choice if you’re craving flavorful Indian food while in Hoi An. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with comfortable seating and friendly service. It’s conveniently located and, unlike many other spots in town, they serve food until 1:00 a.m., which makes it perfect for a late dinner after exploring the night market or the old town.
We ordered two of their signature curries — the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken — along with some Butter Naan to share. The food arrived quickly, well-presented, and with generous portions, which already gave a good impression.
The Chicken Tikka Masala had a nice, rich flavor and the sauce was thick and aromatic, but it turned out to be spicier than expected, even though we specifically asked for it to be mild. The spice level wasn’t unbearable, but it did overpower some of the subtle flavors that make the dish so good when done perfectly. That said, you could still tell it was well-prepared, and fans of spicy food would probably enjoy it.
The Butter Chicken, on the other hand, was excellent — creamy, buttery, and full of flavor without being spicy. The chicken pieces were tender and cooked just right, and the sauce had that smooth, slightly sweet taste that makes this dish such a favorite. It was perfectly balanced and easily the highlight of our meal. If you visit MAAZI, I’d definitely recommend ordering this one.
We also had Butter Naan, and it was exactly what you’d hope for — soft, warm, and just slightly crispy on the edges. It paired beautifully with both curries, soaking up the sauce and enhancing every bite. The portion size was good, and everything felt freshly made.
The service was quick and attentive. The staff were friendly, polite, and made sure everything came out in good time. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy, they managed to keep things running smoothly. You can tell the team is experienced and used to handling both local and international guests.
In terms of price, it’s quite reasonable for what you get. The quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the overall dining experience make it good value for money. You won’t leave hungry, and everything feels made with care rather than rushed.
The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable — modern but still cozy, with soft lighting and a nice layout that makes it easy to enjoy your meal without feeling cramped. It’s suitable for both couples and small groups.
Overall, MAAZI Hoi An is a solid option for Indian cuisine in the heart of Hoi An. The Butter Chicken is a must-try, the Butter Naan complements it perfectly, and while the Chicken Tikka Masala was a bit too spicy for our liking, it was still flavorful and well-made.
Delicious food, fast service, fair prices, and the convenience of late opening hours make this restaurant absolutely worth a visit.

The butter chicken was a bit sour but okay since it was on the sweet side than spicy side. The butter naan was good, and their tandoori tikka was tender. My gf enjoyed it as a first time eating Indian food.

We had a great experience at Mazi Indian Restaurant in Hoi An. The food was delicious and authentic. Special thanks to Suraj, the waiter, who made sure our order was delivered on time.
We tried the Indian masala chai and ginger tea – both were served piping hot, perfect for the rainy weather.

For snacks, we had samosa and masala papad, which tasted fresh and never felt like frozen food. We even went back for a late-night dinner, having Dhal kichdi and the owner along with the staff were friendly and happy to serve us, which made the experience even better.

Good food, warm hospitality, and very reasonable Indian prices – definitely a must-visit in Hoi An

I had an absolutely fantastic meal here! The food was incredibly delicious – full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. Junaid, who took great care of me.

There was a rather odd guest at the next table who loudly complained that the meat wasn’t prepared the right way. Honestly, his comments were completely baseless. My dish was excellent, and the quality was undeniable.

If you happen to see a negative review popping up in the next few hours, just know it likely came from that same guest – and it says more about him than it does about this wonderful restaurant. Some people have unrealistic expectations and just want to make noise.

Don’t let that distract you. This place is absolutely worth visiting – I’ll definitely be coming back!

This is my first time trying Indian food and I really enjoy the lamb curry and cheese bread. It was magnificent. The best part of this restaurant is that their food are inshaAllah Halal.

Mazzi Restaurant offers a rather disappointing dining experience. The food is below average in both taste and overall quality, lacking the freshness you would normally expect in Hoi An’s vibrant food scene. Flavors feel flat and uninspired, making the dishes forgettable. The ambience also fails to impress, with little charm or atmosphere to enhance the meal. Considering the many excellent restaurants in Hoi An, this one does not stand out and may leave diners wishing they had chosen elsewhere.

Popped in for what should have been a lighter meal after we had done a cooking class but we couldn’t resist ordering a bit more.
We enjoyed the samosa chat, chicken Rogan Josh, garlic naan and masala fries and polished off every last bite! The food was authentic and delicious
