I found Lin and daughters a few years ago and till this date its still my FAVORITE.
I’ve been to the West Village location more times than I can count so I was quite excited to try the flat iron location, let me tell you it is EVERYTHING!
The beef noodle soup is a deeply warming soup filled with layers of spice that soothe and energize at the same time. Hearty and incredibly satisfying, it’s comfort in a bowl. The dan dan noodles are delicious, perfectly cooked, satisfying, and clearly made with care. Every bite feels thoughtful and deeply comforting. I absolutely love the presentation as well!!! it’s beautiful, inviting, and really shows the pride that goes into the dish.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere makes the experience even better. The space feels warm and welcoming, the kind of place you immediately feel comfortable settling into. The restaurant is inviting, and it makes you want to slow down and truly enjoy your meal. This is the kind of restaurant you find yourself craving and happily returning to again and again.

It feels like being in an old-school Chinatown spot, only nicer and more hip. The manager personally brought out our food and encouraged us to read about the restaurant’s history. The owner was there too, pitching in and clearly hands-on. You can really see the care they put into the place. Overall, great food, affordable prices, and excellent customer service

This review is long long overdue, I have been going since they opened and attempting to try the whole menu. This place is simply amazing. Their menu is compact due to the size of the place but also their product. It feels like they are all family recipes and they use really good ingredients. The soups and dumplings are all outstanding. The staff is so kind and the place is super clean, both in front and back. A really special place.

This recently showed up on 26th street at 6th Ave. after walking by earlier, I decided to give it a try.
The food was good and what I expected. The DanDan noodles were spicy and starchy, and tasted authentic . The wonton soup was good, solid broth with wontons that did not taste like the frozen mass produced variety. Prices were reasonable for the portions.
I spoke to a guy who had tried them a few days earlier. He had to come back for the Brisket Scallion cakes. I will have to try those next.
Definitely worth checking out.

So so so good! Ive loved their west village location and this is a great addition to flatiron. I ordered the special of the day hot and sour soup and some shrimp dumplings – all so high quality and yummy!

The beef noodle soup was so flavorful, definitely my favorite so far. The pork steamed dumplings were great too. My only complaint is that the top part of the dumpling was a little hard, maybe it was undercooked?

The place is small and cute. Gorgeous murals on the walls. The veg dumplins were very good. The host was pleasant. I will be coming back to try the noodles and Booba drink.

I just had the Daughter’s Garlic Butter Udon and I am so happy to have them in this neighborhood. The combination of oyster sauce with butter and garlic was so good.
