Stayed in town all week, definitely a great place! Tried something different every time we went. Definitely get the sald bar! GREAT FISH! 10/10 would recommend. Every server we had was Amazing!

Everything looked fresh and delicious. Salad bar was well attended and looked clean and very nice. Salad bar attendant was working very hard at making her station look the best. She took pride in her job and you could tell.
Waitress Kristen was friendly and attentive.
Food was great and at 15.00 I came out of there my belly stuffed to the max with a good size to go doggie bag of a hamburger, which was only 2.49 extra on top of the salad bar.

Front doors can be a struggle if your in a wheelchair and by yourself. But plenty of room inside with a bathroom that most chairs and walkers can easily enter. The only reason it didnt get full stars was because it was cool enough that you must eat fast so your food doesn’t get cold. Service was great!

Fried shrimp was box shrimp deep fried. Not too good. Cream of chicken soup was great. Rice pilaf was salty. His stuffed chicken was dry. Very nice people though

I love the clam chowder. Wonderful variety on the soup, salad & desert bar. Nice touch to have extra icing for the cinnamon bread. I had the little Willy burger. It was nicely cooked and juicy.

The place was clean. The wait staff were friendly and polite. Going to Hoss’s growing up was for a special time because my family ate at home. I know it was a long time ago but getting the sirloin tips cost like $3 more than the salad bar. Now the price for sirloin tips and salad bar is $22. Ok. However, my father and I spit about 50% of the tips into our napkins because they were primarily gristle and fat. They were not very flavorful either. We were explained that Hoss used to cut their own meat and knew what they were doing. Now they are purchased. Sad.
Another issue I had was the preprinted on receipt suggested tip. The amounts they said for 18, 20 or 22% tips were way higher than what those precents are. Their suggestion for 18% is actually 22% of the bill. Yes I’m a math nerd. I saw and caught it right away. I tip well but don’t flat out lie on the receipts. Very disappointed and won’t rush back.

This is my first time here, and I was very happy that we chose this place to eat before we traveled home. The first impression when we walked in the hostess was very nice, smiled, and we were seated right away. Our waitress, while I’m not sure she told us her name, got right into getting our drinks and brought them back immediately. She was knowledgeable and answered our questions we had about the menu. She took our order, and when I say the food came quickly, it was hot, fresh, and delicious. If you ever get the chance, the salad bar is not one to miss fresh salads , cakes, cookies, and self-serve ice cream. You can’t beat that. Just the right portion not too much, and not too little. It’s just a perfect bite that left my crew talking about it all the way home. Give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely return to try other dishes on the menu and provide you with an updated review

This was our first time eating at a Hoss’s and will not be our last. Very pleasently surprised, with both the food and the service. My wife got the stuffed chicken dinner and salad bar I got what they had for the managers special of Flat Iron steak also with the salad bar. The streak was cooked perfectly and my wife stuffed chicken dish was fantastic. But what we both really loved was the salad bar. This was set up as salad bars of the past and was so nostalgic we truly enjoyed that part. If you are in the area and there is one of these around do yourself a favor and stop for some good homegrown good food.

We decided to stop here on our way through Bedford PA and I am so glad we did. The food was Awesome. I ordered the filet medium rare and it came out fast and perfect. The salad and dessert bar was great. They also had a tostitos bar that had fantastic guacamole and the French onion soup was very tasty. This is probably the closest to home cooking that I have had in a restaurant. If you are passing Bedford, PA and are looking for good food, stop by its definitely worth it! We go fron NJ to Ohio regularly and this is a pretty good halfway point to stop so we will definitely be back!
