Stopped at the Taco Palenque on 1102 S Expressway 83 in Harlingen, TX, and had excellent service from Emma at the counter. When I mentioned the military discount, she immediately went to her manager and made sure it was applied.

She was professional, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful. Emma really elevated the whole experience.

Great food, great staff — and Emma stands out.

Taco Palenque is always good, but this particular location was great. The staff was all so sweet, full of smiles. I found this to be so wonderful considering it was Christmas day and they were working with such positive attitudes. Food is always fresh and delicious…one thing though and this goes for all the Taco Palenques…they need to cook the tortillas a bit more. That is my only complaint.

Got the Platter for 2 and I have to say, the Beef Fajita was super tender, the Corn Tortillas were made fresh ans super soft and flavorful. The Beans were amazing and the Salsa was on point, not to mention the grilled onions for the tacos. The only minor detail was that the Rice was a bit overcooked and moochy.

Salsa/condiment bar was well stocked. Chips were hot and crisp. Overall food is good, however the rice was overcooked. The rest of the entree was very good. Staff are constantly cleaning tables and tidying up. Good food at this location.

Fajitas are really good really good taste. Place its kind of dirty two or three tables really bad slippery floors.thats why i put 4 stars. They have a salsas bar and tostadas. The combo 4 its kind of expensive.

Ordered beef fajitas. They were good. The young lady in the drive-thru forgot to give me my tortillas so I ended up driving back and missed most of the dinner with my out of town family. Gentleman I spoke with when I came back was very nice and apologized for any inconvenience.

Taco palenque never disappoints it could be mid day or past mid night.
Tacos were well served.
Fajita was tender and well flavored.
The salsas are good.
The service- The service was great staff had a smile on their face.

I eat here at least once a week, food is usually very quick and fresh. They have never gotten my order wrong. Staff is polite and efficient.

I ordered at 3:57. A combo and a fideo bowl. My order was forgotten. I waited till the manager Liz asked why I was there. The attendant advised her that I was waiting for my order. I asked what was wrong. She lied and told me they didnt have the food readyand it was still cooking. This after I saw her ask the guy what I was waiting on. Ill have to check my food.
