Great Food, Better Value
I had a lovely experience at Arora. The highlight was definitely the bread—perfectly thin and expertly prepared. For appetizers, the Lasuni Gobi and Chili Garlic Chicken were both flavorful hits. We also enjoyed the Chicken Fried Rice, while the Anjeer Kofta was a decent addition to the meal. With its peaceful ambiance and very reasonable price point, it’s a solid choice for a calm dinner out.

One of the better Indian restaurants I’ve been to. Their modern ambience, kind service, and amazing food made the meal delightful. We were the only diners on Saturday night and the server was very attentive. I loved their garlic and chili naan with lots of garlic chunks and super fresh. I ordered their tikka masala with maximum Indian spice and it definitely hit the spot. Loved their desserts as well, especially the ras malai. If you’re craving good Indian food, check out Aroras.

We decided to try Arora’s because they offer vegan options and alcohol free mocktails. We were greeted by the friendly staff and seated right away. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and delicious with just the right balance of flavor and spice(we ordered medium spicy). The service we received was excellent. The servers are attentive and the timing of food coming out of the kitchen was well-paced. The decor is elegant and modern and the chairs and tables are comfortable. The noise level was not too loud and there was pleasant smooth jazz music playing softly. We would have enjoyed the atmosphere better if the lighting was a bit less bright, and if the temperature inside was warmer. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this restaurant for a date night or special occasion. We’ll definitely be back.

Decided to give this place a try and glad that we did. High marks to the decor, ambience, food, service, attention to detail and a good selection and variety in the menu. Service was prompt and food was delicious. Portions were perfect. Excellent non-alcoholic drinks. They have California wine selection which we may try next time. Overall a pleasant experience. Spice level is adjusted. We ordered medium spicy and it was perfect. Could tell that the ingredients were fresh. Gobi and fish was a tad overdone but taste was good. Highly recommend this place for celebrating your life’s major events and make memories.

Our first time here was AMAZING! The attention to detail in the ambiance was so appreciated. We just felt so relaxed! The food was delicious-we just ordered our waiter’s suggestions and we were so pleased! He recommended Lasuni Gobi (fried cauliflower in a delicious sauce), my husband had lamb Rogan Josh, and I had eggplant (bainga bharta) All with garlic naan. We will 100% be back and can’t recommend it enough!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Arora, a newly opened Indian restaurant in Freehold, NJ, and it exceeded all expectations! Located inside a plaza, the restaurant’s beautifully designed interior is both warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience.
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated by the manager, Johnny, who shared that Arora is a secondary location to the well-known Royal Ganesha. Our server, Marvin, provided exceptional service, with an attention to detail that truly stood out and made us feel incredibly welcomed.
The food was simply outstanding. We started with the Baingan Bharta, a delicious vegetarian dish featuring charcoal-grilled eggplant, rich in smoky flavor and perfectly prepared. The Anjeer Kofte quickly became my favorite—an amazing blend of sweet and spicy flavors, with delightful bursts of sweetness from the figs. It was truly unforgettable. We also ordered the Mixed Grill Platter, which was cooked to perfection, with each piece of meat tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned.
The combination of impeccable service, incredible food, and a welcoming ambiance makes Arora a must-try. If you’re a fan of Royal Ganesha, you’ll love this spot. I’ll definitely be back for more!
